Worstead Estate

It was the perfect venue for the perfect day! We fell in love with it from the start. The grounds are spectacular, and the daffodils are in full force in spring time, which is a real added treat. Emily is so on the ball as a wedding coordinator and doesn’t miss a trick or a leave a stone unturned! We would recommend every time if you’re looking for a stunning venue with someone who knows exactly what they’re doing.

My wife and I got married at Worstead Estate, and it was honestly the most incredible day of our lives. We stayed all week prior to the wedding in the stunning estate cottage which was amazing, we could store wedding props in their huge garage ready for the setup. The hot tub was incredible, and the cottage itself was immaculate. Me and my groomsmen stayed in the newly renovated Gatehouse North which was also top drawer! A short walk to the venue the morning of the wedding helped calm nerves with the amazing field views. I cannot recommend this place enough. They’re always there if you need anything and made sure our day flowed smoothly, big shoutout to Marie and Emily who helped us along the way.

We will be back to enjoy it as a weekend away. 5 stars, without doubt.

My husband and I had our wedding at Worstead last week, and it was honestly the most wonderful weekend of our lives!

The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous – we have received so many positively blooming compliments about the venue itself, from the relaxing countryside feel to the intimacy of only having two rooms but still enough space for lots of guests, to the enjoyment people had playing football and lawn games on the grass area, and obviously about the absolute beauty which is the lake situated near the barn.

It is a perfect venue if couples don’t want to spend lots of time and money decorating a venue, as it is just gorgeous, exactly how it is! A beautifully converted barn with wonderful brickwork but a warm feel, an intimate bar, toilets and changing facilities, disabled access and a huge room to dine in, which worked wonders in the evening for a quiet space for guests who wanted a little time out from the disco!

Marie, the venue manager, was an absolute delight to work with, making suggestions as we set up the venue the day before, which we never would’ve thought of ourselves and made the day run so smoothly. However she didn’t feel like a manager on the big day, she felt like a guest and a friend who was just as excited about our day as we were!

Myself and my bridesmaids stayed the night before at the estate cottage on site, which was just a perfect place to relax the night before the wedding and get ready the morning of.
I cannot recommend Worstead enough, we wish we could do our day all over again and it just wouldn’t have been the same at any other venue!

Worstead is beautiful, and the accommodation is stunning. Holly House is next level. We had hoped for an outdoor wedding, and the weather let us down, but honestly, as cliche as it is, it didn’t matter. Along with the venue manager, Marie, and grounds manager, Steve, prepping for every eventuality. We were allowed in the venue a couple of days before, which really made a difference to us in terms of setting things up and feeling a bit more calm about all the prep. It was such a smooth and joyful day, and I know this was down to how much went on behind the scenes. No ask was too big. I’m a very organised/particular bride and I was so grateful for all the attention to detail that this venue helped with. Marie, the venue manager, is calm, kind, fun, and so organised. She even came to see me the morning of to check I was ok because I had been feeling anxious. You will be in such safe hands at this venue, and it is beautiful, come rain or shine. Totally recommend staying the night after the wedding for some hot tub R&R and reminiscing. Huge thanks and love.

We had our wedding at Worstead Estate in August 2025, and it was everything we had dreamed of and more. The grounds of Worstead Estate are absolutely stunning, and so many of our guests commented on how it was the nicest venue they had been to. The two rooms used for the ceremony and wedding breakfast are beautiful, and although you can personalise them with your own decorations, the rooms themselves are so lovely as they are, and therefore we didn’t need lots of decoration. Marie and Lizzie, the wedding coordinators, are just the best – they are a perfect dream team and handled everything for us. They were always available through email or phone, and we never felt worried or stressed as they had it all in hand. They are both so kind and professional, and nothing ever felt like a silly question; you could really sense they just wanted the day to be perfect for us. Finally, the accommodation offer the Woodyard has is great – especially the Estate Cottage next to the venue, I absolutely loved seeing my guests arrive as I was getting ready in the morning, and it added even more to the excitement. I would recommend Worstead to everybody, and I really hope we can visit again another time as wedding guests! Thank you!

We had our wedding at Worstead Estate and would highly recommend this venue. The venue itself is beautiful, and they are very flexible for designing and decorating however you would like for your special day. On the day, Ashley and Marie were incredible; the day went so smoothly, a few timing changes were integrated seamlessly, and this all happened without us needing to be involved. From setup through to clearing, everything was very well organised, and the venue management team were just fantastic.

The best team, venue and location! We celebrated our big day at The Woodyard, and we could not have hoped for a better venue. From the beautiful grounds, spacious and lovely flow in the venue itself, all the way to the guys working behind the scenes, particularly Marie.

We stayed on site with the accommodation at Estate Cottage and Swann Cottage, and the stay matched the venue! The accommodation was conveniently placed nearby, meaning there was an ease in going back and forth. The properties were the perfect place to prepare and unwind; we loved our stay in both properties.

Marie was always on hand to answer any questions, provide ideas and put things into action with no hesitation. We felt completely at ease on the day as we knew Marie would be looking after us! Hayley was also pivotal in making any interaction we had an enjoyable one, too!

We can’t thank you and the team enough for making our special day one we will always remember.

We recently got married at the Woodyard – the venue has absolutely everything you need and more! Its beauty can be seen right from the start, and it is stunning before any decoration; you truly don’t need to do a lot to it. If you do, it is yours to do what you like. I stayed at the Estate Cottage opposite – really well-equipped accommodation, spacious and just perfect! I loved getting ready with my girls the morning of. I had one MUA and two hairdressers, and it was spacious enough for us all and really good vibes! Then we get onto Marie and Liz – when I say they were amazing, this is truly an understatement – there are no words to describe how amazing they were! They are both so relaxed yet so supportive – they were really quick and responsive on the lead up to the day and on the day itself, so helpful to guide us through it. They helped set up and were on hand on the day to just ease us through. Everything ran perfectly, and it was because of them. My dress broke at the church and they helped fix it when we got back, they were honestly so calming you can trust them fully. My husband and I both said they were such a highlight of our wedding – we were overwhelmed at one point, so we went and sat in their office for 10 mins out and were then refreshed and ready to go again! You could not get better support. If you’re considering the Woodyard, give them a call or go and see them, and I promise you you won’t regret it! Beautiful venue and grounds, a beautiful church nearby, and just second-to-none support. We will forever be grateful to you both – thank you, Marie and Liz.

The venue is beautiful and finished to a really high spec, and the grounds of the venue are amazing, with lots of green outside space and a lake and island which makes the venue feel really secluded. The venue manager Emily was fantastic to work with from beginning to end, and made the planning process really straightforward. Emily was professional, organised and really accommodating, allowing us to add personal touches to the decoration and organisation which made the day really special. We would very much recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a really unique venue.

We recently had our wedding at the beautiful Worstead estate, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! From the moment we first visited, we knew the venue was the one. The setting is absolutely stunning, both inside the barns and on the grounds, offering you so many different locations to get married, including the local church.

Marie and the team were amazing and supportive throughout the entire process. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day and made sure that every little detail was taken with such care.

We were able to have a horse and carriage that took us from the church to the venue, secret singing waiters, everything we wanted we were able to have with no trouble at all, it was always made possible or solutions created if we ever found a hurdle.

I generally believe that Worstead have literally thought of everything possible and would highly recommend anyone to get married here. We would do the whole day again tomorrow if we could.

The biggest thanks to Marie, Bruce and the team for everything, we will always look back on our day with the biggest smiles on our faces! We can’t wait to return to the venue’s accommodation in the future years to reminisce over our day.

The venue is absolutely stunning! Amazing grounds, high-spec facilities, and a beautiful location. Emily, who manages the venue, was a dream to work with from the very beginning. We live in New Zealand, so having someone as professional, experienced, and organised as Emily made for an entirely seamless process, even from the other side of the world. We could not recommend this venue highly enough.

Worstead Estate was the best wedding venue for us, the setting is just stunning and so quaint. We wanted somewhere that offered indoor and outdoor options because the weather is unpredictable, and it was definitely the right choice; it met all of our requirements! Our guests couldn’t get over the serine surrounds. Marie was so helpful in the build up to the day with regular contact to make sure we were all on the same page. On the day, Marie was so great at making the day run so smoothly, which meant we could relax and enjoy the day knowing it was all taken care of. The Sunday after was amazing; they had organised all of our decorations and belongings for an easy pickup. We are so happy we chose Worstead Estate and will be recommending it to others.

We’ve had so many messages saying how lovely the venue was and how well managed it was by you on the day.
