Wootton Hall Estate sits privately within twenty-seven acres of Lincolnshire countryside, offering complete seclusion for multi-day weddings shared only with invited guests. The Georgian house anchors the estate, surrounded by parkland, gardens and a private golf course, creating a setting that feels expansive yet contained. Exclusive use allows couples and their guests to move freely between the house, gardens and grounds, settling into the rhythm of the place across the weekend.
The hall itself reflects eighteenth-century proportions and quiet confidence, with interiors shaped by designer Amanda Meade to balance heritage detail with considered restraint. Across the estate, the layout flows naturally from formal rooms to gardens and on to the barn, giving each part of the celebration its own character while remaining closely connected.
The estate’s inclusive wedding offering has everything you’ll need from your venue. There simply are no hidden costs. Just bring your finest wedding outfits and don’t forget your rings!
Ceremonies at Wootton Hall offer a choice of distinctive settings, each shaped by light, proportion and outlook. Inside the hall, vows can be exchanged in the white ballroom, where floor-to-ceiling sash windows frame views across the grounds and daylight shifts gently throughout the year. This space accommodates up to seventy-five guests and carries a sense of understated grandeur.
For larger ceremonies, the Morning Room accommodates up to 100 guests, with original Georgian features, generous sash windows, and views over the golf course and tennis lawn. Outdoor ceremonies are equally flexible, with locations across the estate including the backdrop of the hall itself, the walled garden or the tennis lawn, welcoming up to two hundred guests.
The estate unfolds from the hall through gardens and courtyards to the renovated larch barn, allowing receptions to move naturally through the day. Drinks are often hosted in the English walled garden, reached via hidden pathways from the house and framed by the barn, courtyard and outdoor bar.
Dinner is served in the barn, a light-filled space reimagined with pale walls, softened tones and doors opening onto the courtyard. As daylight fades, the atmosphere shifts with candlelight and floral styling, while the barn’s scale comfortably hosts up to two hundred guests. The transition from dining to dancing feels unforced, with the surrounding gardens remaining part of the experience throughout the evening.
Accommodation at Wootton Hall is thoughtfully spread across the estate, allowing twenty-three guests to stay on site in the hall, three cottages, and a courtyard studio. Suites within the house sit alongside standalone spaces, giving flexibility for family groups and close friends across the weekend.
The bridal wing occupies the west wing of the hall and remains entirely private on the wedding morning. With its own entrance, atrium, bathroom, dressing room and dual-aspect bedroom, it offers generous space for preparations, photography and quiet moments before the day begins, while keeping the rest of the house undisturbed.
Food plays a central role in a Wootton Hall wedding, delivered by an in-house team led by Head Chef Tom Bell and Head Patisserie Chef Sam Buffey. Menus are shaped in collaboration with each couple, with a focus on generous hospitality throughout the stay rather than on a single meal.
The weekend begins with canapés and private dining on Friday evening, followed by breakfast on the wedding morning and a full day of dining that moves from canapés to a tailored wedding menu and fine patisserie. As evening celebrations continue, wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas are served from the estate’s oven, extending the sense of shared enjoyment well into the night.
