We’ve been trying to find the words to describe or review Wilde Lodge. It’s blooming hard. From the majestic setting and glamping on site. To the wonderful and supportive staff. Finally the simply unimaginably gorgeous food from Csons Everything. There’s only one word really, perfect. You made the wedding more than welcome could have ever imagined We cannot thank the team at Wilde lodge enough for all they did before, during and after our wedding, the genuine love, passion and commitment they have shines through. You genuinely feel part of the Wilde Lodge family and they calmly steer you through what could be a stressful time with ease. From our first meeting with Jemma, then all the help and support from Hannah and Jess it has been an incredible time. Offering ideas, contacts, solutions and enthusiasm throughout. Jess – you are incredible. Thank you for all the help before, during, and after, and for keeping Chris calm/running away on the big day! If you have the chance to book for the weekend, don’t hesitate. Do it! You will not regret this, it makes the weekend more magical and special, it gives you the time to build up to the day, and relax and laugh about all that’s just happened the next day. Csons – oh my…..there are no words, no words to describe their food. Don’t have any hesitation – the food is sensational; we lost count of all the glowing comments about the food, even from fussy guests (we had 110 guests and believe me, we lost count of allergies people had – Csons were able to work around all of these!). Trust the whole team at Wilde Lodge; they are simply incredible. Thank you for making this the most incredible, special and beautiful weekend of our lives. We could not imagine being elsewhere for our wedding and feel privileged to have been able to be married there. We will definitely return for a weekend in the future.

We want to express our endless thanks to you Hannah, Jemma and your incredible team. You utterly and completely made our dreams come true. Nearly 4 weeks on we are still getting messages from friends and family gushing about how fantastic the day was, how relaxed and comfortable they felt and about how you all, without exception made them feel at home and welcome. Your warmth shone through in spite of the ‘changeable’ weather!

The venue is spectacular, with so many amazing spaces and beautiful views, and the food by CSONS is perfect. We had so many compliments, “this is not normal wedding food, this is spectacular food!” Thanks to you, Hannah, for indulging my last-minute nerves about weather and ceremony location with endless kindness, ingenuity and patience(!); in the end, the long barn was a magical, intimate space where we felt surrounded by love; we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

We are overjoyed that we found Wilde Lodge and you all. You delivered the day we always hoped to achieve and more and you did it whilst making us feel like family. Your support and guidance in the run up to the day made us feel in such safe hands and took a lot of worry away from this stressed bride!

We hope to return to the magical Wilde Lodge for many years to come.

Jemma and her team were brilliant from the start! Since we decided to book this beautiful venue for our wedding, Jemma was helpful on every single turn. She was always on hand to answer questions or discuss ideas with us for the big day. We also enjoyed having the venue for the weekend (arrived Friday to set up and drink, wedding Saturday, venue to ourselves Sunday) we truly recommend doing this as It was so special. This venue is in the most perfect setting and is perfect for photos, and big or small get together due to it being in the countryside you don’t need to worry about being loud! Special shout out to Maddy who was our wedding coordinator, she was perfect and nothing was to big or little for her or the team to do. Maddy and Jemma have become dear friends to us and it was like leaving family on the Monday morning.

To wrap it up, this venue and the staff are perfect for any and all occasions! We will be back on a regular basis because it was so incredible. Book it, you won’t regret it.

Such a beautiful house, sure to find amazing comforts and host’s have been a pleasure. Nothing too much trouble… food was amazing and when it came to the wedding day – all had been thought of and catered for.

Bride and Groom expected an amazing stay and got so much more. We all cannot thank you enough and will be back for the celebrations in December.

It’s hard to know where to start in praising Jemma, Kevin, Jules, Jess, and all of the staff who worked so hard before, during and after our wedding day to make it the very best experience for us and our guests. The accommodation, with its amazing views on-site, was luxurious, spacious, and comfortable and housed five families with small children easily, which made the preparations so fun on the day. The different zones at Wilde Lodge were so useful for the different parts of the wedding, and everything went so smoothly, considering we had a large number of guests (116). The Long Barn was perfect for our family photographs, the garden was a beautiful backdrop for our confetti walk, and the tent was a magnificent celebratory space for both our ceremony and wedding breakfast. I could go on and on about all of the little details, but they did so much for us I would be here all day. Thank you, Wilde Lodge. Great venue!

I grew up in the area, and it was a pleasure to be able to host our friends from all over the country and the world to my home stomping grounds. Wilde Lodge exceeded every expectation, from helpful hints and tips in our planning to no request being too much all weekend. We had so many comments from our guests commending the team at Wilde Lodge. Phoebe, our wedding coordinator, and Jules, the bar manager, need special mentions. The food from CSONS was exceptional and our aim of filling our guests up was truly met, one guest had to remove their trousers on the journey home from being so full! The beds in the lodge were super comfortable, the tents lovely, and hot water bottles provided. The beautiful foals in the fields and rolling marches countryside were the perfect backdrop. I wish we could do it all over again. There are so many lovely areas to make use of: the Safari tent, long barn, open barn, kitchen garden, and front garden. I would recommend this venue to anybody.

Jemma, Hannah and the whole team at Wilde Lodge were outstanding from the moment we first made contact to arrange a viewing, to the end of our wedding stay. Nothing was too much trouble for our wedding coordinator, Hannah, who we had regular communication with from 12 months before the big day. Friendly, warming, approachable and professional, she really did go above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

The venue itself is gorgeous, a luxury big country house, with beautiful dining room perfect for hair and make up. The option of added Bell Tents for guests to stay in, garden games, wild walks, horses, open barns, safari tents – what more can you ask for!?

Wilde Lodge is the best venue and the best people you will come across.

We originally had another venue booked, they however went into liquidation, we were on the hunt for another venue for the same date to allow us to keep our suppliers. Fortunately, we found Wilde Lodge and from the moment we spoke to Maddy we knew this was going to be better than the wedding we had originally planned. They were so accommodating and so generous with their time. Maddy was always available for a quick call if we had more questions and really encouraging of our ideas for example we wanted mulled wine for the evening and she made it happen. They put our minds at ease at every turn.

We arrived on the Friday and sadly Maddy was ill, but Jemma jumped in and put our minds at rest. She even ran out and picked us up a quick lunch when we arrived as we’d not eaten but wanted to get stuck in to start setting up. Jemma had a giant document typed up by Maddy of how the wedding was going to run and the plan for each part. You can tell that they really care.

On the day the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. From running to grab us some orange juice for mimosas whilst getting ready to speeding out to find some thank you bouquets after they’d been forgotten. Honestly I don’t know what more that they could have done for us, the day was absolutely perfect! Everything ran smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We all had the best day.

Can’t wait to go back! We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We spent almost a year looking for a wedding venue before finally finding Wilde Lodge. We wanted a relaxed celebration with our closest friends and family for our wedding day and Wilde Lodge was just absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to everyone at Wilde Lodge for giving us the absolute wedding day. We would definitely be described as wedding averse, but all the staff at the venue went above and beyond helping us create the best day and giving us complete flexibility with what we wanted to do. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous, and everyone has raved about how great the venue is. The options for small weddings (under 30 guests for us) are also excellent if that’s what you are looking for – the spaces are so versatile and somehow felt so intimate yet also a great space if you wanted a bigger celebration. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day and can’t wait to come back one day!

We got married here and honestly had one of the best weekends of our lives! The venue is just as gorgeous as it looks in pictures. Jemma was endlessly flexible so that we were able to do things exactly as we wanted (this really is a massive selling point as most wedding venues can be very rigid). Maddy was just an absolute star in the days leading up to it and over the weekend. She really went over and above and she and the rest of the staff magically made everything run smoothly before we’d even thought of what needed doing. We couldn’t be happier or recommend Wilde Lodge more highly.

We had the most wonderful few days here for our wedding. Even though the weather was horrendous, the most perfect day was had by everyone. Location could not be better and the food was amazing. Would love to come back, thanks Jemma for making the day one to remember.

This venue is unbelievably good; we cannot recommend it enough! The regular check-in calls on the run-up to the wedding were super useful – we would’ve been lost without their help. These made it easy to know exactly what we needed to do and when. It was lovely to be greeted at the lodge on Friday, and their help that day was invaluable for the set-up. It’s amazing that we had the time to do this in a relaxed and enjoyable way. We had a great time hosting a BBQ with our closest friends and family the night before. The accommodation at the lodge itself had everything we needed, and the bell tents were beautiful. It’s such a great place to stay for the whole weekend. The mixture of the barns and activities on the grounds kept everyone occupied with something for everyone. The seamless organisation was absolutely outstanding on the day and made for such a relaxed time for us as a couple. All the staff at Wilde Lodge were incredibly helpful and friendly. We had so many comments from guests on how good the food was – a massive shout-out to CSONS for providing a delicious feast. Our wedding day was absolutely wonderful, we had a fantastic time. It will serve as a special memory for many years to come.

We were so impressed with Wilde Lodge. The setting for a start is just beautiful, in the Welsh countryside. Views of the little stream, forests and hills set the scene for a wonderful weekend. The house and grounds were very stylish and kept very clean, and the interiors were well thought out. The staff were incredible, especially Jemma, who really went above and beyond, especially throughout the whole process of planning. She really made us feel in capable hands with everything running so smoothly over the weekend. The team are obviously pros at this because they knew exactly what they were doing, just running the grounds and keeping all of the guests happy but without being overly intrusive. Our guests all loved the venue and made many comments on how great everything was. We are more than happy with our experience at WL. If we could give it more than five stars, we would.

My daughter and her fiancé selected this venue for their wedding, which took place there this week. When they and ourselves visited Wilde Lodge, we all fell in love with the place and the claims they made were very impressive! I can honestly say that the whole event was as near to perfection as you could possibly want. They listen, they adapt and are utterly attentive to your every need. The staff could not be more accommodating. If you wanted or needed it, all you had to do was ask and it got sorted. The claims they make during the sale are not hollow or half hearted, it is all completely heart felt and completely meant. They love weddings and they love making dreams come true. I simply cannot thank them enough for the experience they gave us.

I cannot thank Jemma and the team enough. From start to finish they have been nothing but helpful, polite, organised and completely understood exactly what we wanted. The venue itself is stunning, relaxed, and so cosy. I loved the fact the we could use every space of the venue for different parts of the day. Jemma and the team are so helpful and kind, and I love them all. CSONS made a special request for our food menu, we wanted a super relaxed day and asked for burgers from their restaurant menu and doughnuts for pudding and it was delicious. Thank you so much, Jemma and everyone at Wilde Lodge, for going above and beyond for us! All of our guests have said how amazing it was!

Having been to see a few venues around our local area prior to booking, we had continued to leave venues somewhat overwhelmed and deflated. We had started wondering if that feeling of knowing a venue is ‘the one’ was a simple fairy tale.

That was, however, until we stumbled across Wilde Lodge back in 2023 and thankfully booked ourselves in for one of the many open days they were offering to prospective couples. Whilst some may say it was the delicious cinnamon buns that drew us in (and they wouldn’t be lying), it was hard not to fall in love with the beautiful grounds, lodge and white wash walls of the venue’s wedding barn (just one of the many places the venue has to offer for your ceremony to take place).

It was on that day and upon driving back down the tree lined lane that we knew Wilde Lodge was meant for us and their was no other place we wished to get married.

Whilst the venue’s location and utter character are hard to beat, it is the staff who truly make Wilde Lodge what it is with their dedication, kindness and hospitality. From the staff behind the bar to those cleaning tables and all of the other tasks that go on behind the scenes, every single member helped to make our wedding day an utter success, and we cannot thank them enough. We do, however, want to extend our special thanks to our truly amazing wedding coordinator, Hannah, who is an absolute angel and brought our wedding dreams to life. Not only on the wedding day itself but in the months leading up to the wedding, be that via email or during our scheduled check-ins, Hannah was always on hand and helped to make the somewhat stressful time of planning a wedding a rewarding and much easier process. Not only ourselves but our whole family are forever grateful to Hannah, words will never be enough to thank her for what she did in helping us becoming a newly married couple.

Wilde Lodge will always have a special place in ours and our families hearts and we will remember our wedding day with memories of pure joy and happiness.

Bottom line up front: our wedding day was the best day of our lives. Thank you to Wilde Lodge and the team, especially Phoebe, our wedding Coordinator – we couldn’t have done it without you! If we had a pound for every time a comment was made about how ‘beautiful’ the place is or questioned on ‘how did you find this place?’ we would be rich, and that’s saying something with less than 50 guests! When you decide on Wilde Lodge, you will be guided throughout. Not a wedding planner, but for us, an invaluable handrail. Once all is set, the Wilde Lodge team will facilitate your vision so that the day is as stress and fuss-free as possible. Our wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast took place in the long barn, which is a magical setting. It did not take much imagination or decoration to put our own vision in place – It’s trite, but less truly is more with this place. Wilde Lodge, with its different areas (front gardens, long barn, open barn, safari tent, games field and general beautiful surroundings), keeps the day fresh and guests entertained; an underrated aspect when we chose Wilde Lodge, but on the day became evident. It is also wonderful to stay in the main house before the big day. It allows you to settle in, get the last bits of preparation completed and facilitates a memorable evening with the wedding party. We must also mention that CSONS, the onsite caterers produced incredibly delicious food enjoyed by all. Wilde Lodge will always hold a special place for us. Thank you!

We booked Wilde Lodge without even seeing it because we knew straight away this was the venue for us! From our first call, we could tell the team knew exactly what they were doing, and they went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. No task was too small, from helping us secure Welsh and Scottish flags to the side of the house, to finding numerous guests blankets to camp with because they forgot their own, we don’t know what we would have done without the amazing Phoebe and her team.

The venue was gorgeous, set in such beautiful countryside with a wild swimming river that was perfect for our day-after hangovers. We truly couldn’t have dreamed of a better venue or experience, if you’re thinking of booking Wilde Lodge I would urge you to do it, you will not regret it!

I’ve had a wonderful weekend, very relaxed atmosphere, beautiful setting and amazing experience staying in the bell tent. Staff were very considerate to every need and were always available to help. I would recommend this venue for any event!
