Wild Thyme & Honey is set in the stunning village of Ampney Crucis, 5 minutes from Cirencester in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Wild Thyme & Honey has all the ingredients you need for a magical wedding. They pride themselves on exclusively using honest, pure and natural materials, meaning that their function spaces do not require excessive dressing and leave your flowers and table decor to do the talking.

Wild Thyme & Honey is licensed to hold both civil weddings and civil partnership ceremonies, and all couples are welcome.

The beautiful event spaces are light and airy, and make the perfect tranquil backdrop for your day (and the all-important photos).

Wild Thyme & Honey Event Suite

Their largest event room, the Wild Thyme & Honey Suite, is a unique, flexible space for larger celebrations.

Exposed Cotswolds stone and natural wood floors are blended with soft textures to create a stylish space that can be set up in several ways. Naturally floodlit from the skylight above and leading out onto a private alfresco courtyard, the suite also benefits from breakout spaces with an adjoining lounge and the Secret Garden Room.

Reception drinks on a sunny day, or under the stars, can be enjoyed in (almost) all seasons on our covered terrace with a wood-burning fire.

A wood-panelled dining room, perfect for more intimate weddings, or as a quiet or child-friendly space, away from the main event.

At the end of the night, fall into your king-sized bed, tired and deliriously happy. They can accommodate you and your guests in 24 romantic rooms and suites, including No. 3 London Road, their exclusive honeymoon suite.

Tell the in-house chefs what you’d love to eat, and using the finest ingredients, their award-winning culinary team will create a delicious, bespoke menu for your wedding that looks (almost) too good to eat.

The Village

Ampney Crucis epitomises quintessential Cotswold beauty with its winding brook, rolling meadows, and ancient stone buildings.

As the largest of the three picture-perfect Ampneys (alongside Ampney St Mary and Ampney St Peter), it provides the ideal setting for a relaxing getaway.

By car

The optimal routes are as follows: From the M4, take Junction 15 and follow the A419 North. From the M5, exit at Junction 13 and take the A419 South.

By Train

Kemble Train Station, located about a 15-minute drive from Ampney Crucis, offers a train journey to Paddington that takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Alternatively, Swindon Train Station, around a 30-minute drive from Ampney Crucis, provides a faster route to Paddington, with a travel time of approximately 55 minutes.
