West Barn Lodge

Nestled within the picturesque Fovant Valley, West Barn Lodge graces the heart of one of the UK’s rare Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Enveloped by sweeping hills and sprawling fields adorned with charming lavender and wildflower beds, it epitomises a rural utopia.

This venue effortlessly blends grandeur with warmth, ensuring guests feel at ease. The inclusion of handcrafted, high-end reclaimed furniture bestows a delightful and unparalleled character. Originally a 19th-century threshing barn and dairy, West Barn Lodge exudes rustic farm allure while providing an exquisitely polished backdrop for your momentous day.

With a backdrop of the rolling hills of the Fovant Downs and Wiltshire countryside, the Lodge offers ceremonies in a choice of locations. The Courtyard is their most popular spot for saying I do, but there is also the front lawn for larger weddings during the summer, or the South Terrace at The Dutch Barn for smaller weddings. During the winter months, 120 guests can be seated under the Stretch Tent next to The Dutch Barn.

When it’s time to celebrate, just a short walk away is The South Terrace with a stretch tent and space for your guests to mingle. Or, if the sun is shining, there is also the option of hosting reception drinks on The Front Lawn with panoramic views of the outstanding natural beauty of the valley surrounding the Lodge.

The Dutch Barn offers a unique space for your reception beautiful views and a choice of rustic long tables or round, cross-back chairs. The bar is either self-supplied or paid, but they do not charge corkage. They also have an HD projector and PA system for the speeches. It is the perfect space to celebrate, party and enjoy your special day.

Offering luxurious accommodation in the form of nine ensuite super-king bedrooms, The Lodge is the perfect spot to put your feet up and get away from it all.

The Lodge is rented out in its entirety and includes full use of the grounds and all amenities within. It is a self-catered holiday home with a spacious and well-stocked kitchen as well as dining space for up to 25 guests.

When it comes to food and drink, it’s your day, your way. They offer you direct contact with their recommended caterers to choose the menu that suits your budget and wishes without the venue needing to be involved. With a fully functional commercial kitchen in the barn and the option for packages that include catering the evening before and day after your wedding, you can design your dining package completely around your needs.

Located just 12 miles from Salisbury, this venue is easily accessible by car and train, with the nearest railway station a mere 4.6 miles away in the neighbouring village of Tisbury.
