Voewood is a stone’s throw (10 minutes) from the beautiful North Norfolk coastline. This fabulous Grade II* listed, Arts & Crafts building dates back to the 1900s and is set in 11 acres of gardens and woodland.

Voewood has hosted amazing weddings for over twenty years. Each one brings something different, and your vision is encouraged. Unpretentious and with an independent spirit, this venue is entirely dedicated to you for your event, giving you the freedom to create your wedding your way.

Voewood is fully licensed for both civil and religious ceremonies, offering indoor and outdoor spaces. Inside, three distinct spaces are available: the Music Room, accommodating up to 30 guests, the Dining Room, accommodating up to 50 guests, and the Banqueting Hall, which can accommodate up to 120 guests. Outdoors, various spaces can accommodate up to 200 guests, featuring stunning backdrops such as croquet lawns and a beautiful fountain, making Voewood the perfect choice for any type of ceremony.

Voewood offers a variety of options for your wedding reception, from cocktails and canapés to buffets and silver service. The main Banqueting Hall can accommodate up to 120 guests at long banqueting tables, with the option to expand capacity by hiring a purpose-built marquee separately. The Dining Room is ideal for buffet-style setups, and food trucks can be stationed outside.

Marquees of various styles can also be set up in the gardens to accommodate larger numbers. From teepees to Luna stretch tents or traditional-style marquees, there are numerous options available, and their team can advise you on the best choice.

Voewoods has its own cellar bar called ‘Pink Lloyds’ for night owls. With a license up until 2am, it’s a party like no other!

Voewood can accommodate 42 guests across 17 unique bedrooms, all exquisitely and individually designed – whether hand-painted or with contemporary art, retro pieces and rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia. Each room has a different vibe, and there are fantastic views of the gardens. The master bedroom is spacious and light, perfect for pre-wedding preparations. Towels and hand soap are provided for all guests, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable stay.

Voewood offers flexibility in catering, allowing you to choose from a list of trusted suppliers or bring in your own caterers. The team can recommend fabulous caterers to help you craft the perfect menu, including accommodating dietary requirements. There is no corkage fee, so you are welcome to supply your own drinks, or you can opt for a recommended bar service that knows Voewood well.

Voewood is situated just outside the picturesque market town of Holt, which boasts a range of excellent shops, bars, and restaurants. Nearby coastal villages, including Cley, Blakeney, Cromer, and Sheringham, offer additional seaside attractions. The area offers several lovely and varied hotels and accommodation for guests not staying at Voewood.

Situated about 3 hours from London by car, Voewood is easily accessible for guests. The nearest train station is Sheringham, which is approximately a 10-15 minute drive away, making it an ideal location for travellers. From London, there are trains to Norwich from Liverpool St (change for Sheringham). There are also trains from London’s King’s Cross to King’s Lynn station, which is approximately 50 minutes from Voewood. Norwich, the splendid county capital of Norfolk, is 50 minutes away.
