Voewood is just outside the Georgian Market town of Holt, a stone’s throw from the beautiful North Norfolk coastline. This Grade II listed building, dating back to the 1900s, is an outstanding expression of the ‘Arts and Crafts Movement.’ Built in the shape of a Butterfly, Voewood is cool and charismatic, blending historic style with modern romance, and offers a relaxed vibe with an eccentric twist. Set within 11 acres of woodland and gorgeous gardens, Voewood provides an exclusive and idyllic setting for your special day.

Voewood has been hosting amazing weddings for over twenty years, and every single wedding brings something different. Unpretentious with an independent spirit, this venue gives you the freedom to design your wedding your way!

Voewood is fully licensed for civil and religious ceremonies and offers indoor and outdoor spaces. Inside, three unique spaces are available: the Music Room for up to 30 guests, the Dining Room for up to 50 guests, and the Banqueting Hall, which can accommodate up to 120 guests. Outdoors, various spaces can host up to 200 guests, with stunning backdrops like croquet lawns and a beautiful fountain, making Voewood the perfect choice for any type of ceremony.

Voewood offers a variety of options for your wedding reception, from cocktails and canapés to buffets and silver service. The main Banqueting Hall can seat up to 120 guests at long banqueting tables, with the option to extend capacity with a purpose-built marquee hired separately. The Dining Room is ideal for buffet-style setups, and food trucks can be stationed outside.

Marquees of various styles can also be set up in the gardens to accommodate larger numbers. From teepees to Luna stretch or traditional-style marquees, there are lots of options available, and their team can advise you on this.

Voewoods has its own cellar bar called ‘Pink Lloyds’ for night owls. With a license up until 2am, it’s a party like no other!

Voewood can accommodate 42 guests in 17 unique bedrooms, all beautifully hand-painted with contemporary art, retro pieces and rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia. Each room offers fantastic views of the gardens, and the master suite is spacious and light, perfect for pre-wedding preparations. Towels and hand soap are provided for all guests, ensuring a comfortable stay.

Voewood offers flexibility with catering, allowing you to choose from a list of trusted suppliers or bring in your own caterers. The team can recommend fabulous caterers to help you craft the perfect menu, including accommodating dietary requirements. There is no corkage fee, so you are welcome to supply your own drinks, or you can opt for a recommended bar service that knows Voewood well.

Voewood is located just outside Holt and near the Sheringham to Weybourne railway line. Holt offers shops, bars, and restaurants, while nearby coastal villages like Cley, Blakeney, Cromer, and Sheringham provide additional attractions. The area offers various hotels and accommodations for guests not staying at Voewood.

Situated about three hours from London by car, Voewood is easily accessible for guests. Connecting train stations are around a 10-minute drive away, making it an ideal location for travellers. The proximity to the coast also provides additional lodging options for guests.
