Victoria stands proudly in Sheffield’s industrial quarter of Neepsend. This historic space, once home to flower gardens, fruit orchards, a circus, and a derelict redbrick chapel, has been thoughtfully restored. The venue’s transformation reflects a passion for reclaiming the past and reimagining it for the present, blending heritage with modern elegance.
The Chapel, dating back to 1884, provides an intimate and atmospheric setting for ceremonies. The original altar, clad in reclaimed mirror, creates a striking focal point, while the Juliette balcony offers a perfect spot for photographs. Guests are seated on vintage red-padded chairs flanking a grand aisle leading to a dramatic entrance via the original stone staircase. The space is fully licensed for marriage and welcomes bespoke ceremonies led by celebrants or loved ones.
Above the purpose-built in-house kitchen sits The Lodge, a beautifully tranquil architectural space externally clad with gorgeously charred Scots Pine. It is set for pre-ceremony interviews, quiet moments, and photographs.
Following the ceremony, guests move to The Clubhouse or The Courtyard for celebratory drinks. As they enjoy seasonal cocktails and hand-selected wines, The Chapel transforms into a grand Feasting Hall. Surrounded by antique candelabras and fresh florals, guests dine under triple-height ceilings before dancing on historic wooden floors as live music or a DJ fills the space. The celebration can continue late into the night in The Clubhouse, complete with a DJ booth in the wine cellar.
Menus are created in-house, focusing on seasonality and provenance. Led by Head Chef Emma Tophill-Reed, the kitchen produces dishes from scratch and offers everything from grazing tables to brasserie-style dining. Sharing and sociability are central to every meal. Cocktails are infused with fresh, hand-picked ingredients, while wines are sourced from small, family-run vineyards. Every element is designed to be memorable and delicious.
Victoria celebrates reuse and restoration. The venue is constructed primarily from reclaimed and repurposed materials, and 85% of furniture and fixtures are custom-made from salvaged pieces. Reclaimed bricks, antique chandeliers, and restored timber floors tell a story of sustainability at every turn. Solar panels power the space, while partnerships with local flower farms and suppliers ensure a low-impact approach to every detail.
Victoria sits in Neepsend, a historic industrial area of Sheffield. Just a short walk from The River Don, the surroundings are rich with wildlife, including kingfishers and honeybee hives. The ancient forest of Parkwood Springs provides a scenic backdrop, while the city’s vibrant culture and independent businesses are within easy reach.
Easily accessible from the M1, Victoria offers ample parking and is just five minutes from Sheffield Train Station, making travel simple.
