Setting
Set in the beautiful Exe Valley, along a hedge-lined drive and past a picturesque pond and gardens, you will arrive at this stunning barn. It features solid wood beams and black steel frames and is spacious, seating up to 140 for a wedding breakfast. It also features a glazed bar leading to a terrace overlooking the paddock and rolling hills of the Devon countryside.
Located in the historic village of Bickleigh between Exeter and Tiverton, it is easily accessible but a hidden gem.
Ceremony
Up to 100 guests can join you outside in the beautiful, Mediterranean-style courtyard draped in honeysuckle and jasmine during the spring and summer months and vibrant autumnal colours during September and October. If you would prefer an indoor ceremony, the gallery provides an intimate and rustic space to say ‘I do’!
Reception
Up to 140 guests can be seated in the Main Barn. There are multiple options for table layouts – banquet, individual or square-style set-ups, and it is entirely up to you how you would like to decorate. Many themes have been displayed, from botanical greenery to natural pampas, from bold and bright spring colours to luxurious navy and gold themes. You can choose your catering whether you would prefer two or three-course plated formal dining, sharing feasting platters, grazing tables, pizza buffets or a hog roast.
Accommodation
There is a honeymoon suite for the newlyweds which can also be used for getting ready. Guests can be accommodated in three luxury, award-winning glamping tents, sleeping up to 18. Other accommodation options are within walking distance and even more < than a 10-minute drive.
Food & Drink
Drinks are supplied via the in-house bar. Caterers are external, and there is a list of catering contacts, or you can choose your own.
