Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens

Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens offers a breathtaking setting within lush tropical and sub-tropical gardens. The venue features exceptional coastal views, including the iconic St Michael’s Mount and an array of inspiring artworks by internationally renowned artists. These elements create a stunning backdrop for weddings.

Tremenheere offers a variety of licensed indoor and outdoor venues to suit weddings of all sizes:

Outdoor Venues: Four outdoor locations are available, each with a wet-weather backup.

• The Garden Pagoda, Skyspace Balcony, and St Michael’s Lookout accommodate small weddings and offer dramatic views of St Michael’s Mount and the surrounding exotic gardens.
• The Chelsea Garden, a Chelsea Gold award-winning garden featuring ponds and aquatic planting, provides a tranquil venue for intimate celebrations.
• James Turrell Skyspace: This unique venue-“Tewlwolow Kernow”-is one of only five Skyspace chambers in the UK and the only one licensed for weddings. It accommodates up to 48 guests for a unique and memorable ceremony.
• Marquee Lawn: New for 2025, this expansive outdoor venue is licensed for larger weddings. It can accommodate up to 118 guests and offers spectacular views of St Michael’s Mount.

Indoor Venue: Tremenheere Gallery is a spacious oak-framed building flooded with natural light. It overlooks the gardens’ tree canopy and can host ceremonies for up to 58 guests. It is an ideal wet-weather alternative.

Receptions at Tremenheere can be tailored to individual preferences. The on-site restaurant offers hire, catering, and reception packages for up to 100 guests. Larger receptions of 120+ guests can be hosted on the marquee wedding lawn, which overlooks St Michael’s Mount. After-ceremony drinks may be enjoyed in the gardens near the licensed ceremony venues.

Couples can choose between catering packages provided by the onsite restaurant or external caterers for marquee receptions. After-ceremony drinks in the gardens add a relaxed touch to the celebration.

Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens is just two miles from Penzance, a charming town in Mount’s Bay that also overlooks St Michael’s Mount. Visitors can explore a range of local attractions and businesses. Recommendations can be found on the Tremenheere website.

By Car:

• From the A30 westbound, take the third exit at the Morrisons roundabout onto Jelbert Way, then follow signs to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens.
• From Penzance, take Chyandour Cliff Road past the train station, then turn right onto Jelbert Way and follow signs to the gardens.

By Public Transport:

• The No. 16/16A bus runs between Penzance and St Ives, stopping near the gardens approximately every other hour. Ensure the bus travels via Gulval and Ludgvan.
• Penzance train station is two miles away. Taxis and car hire are available. The journey takes about 10 minutes by car.
