Built in the 16th century, The Tithe Barn is set within the grounds of the Duke of Devonshire’s majestic Bolton Abbey estate in the Yorkshire Dales. This Grade II* listed building is one of the largest exclusive-use wedding venues in the UK.
Inside, the barn’s majestic scale comes into its own. It is lit with uplights on the flagstone floor and fairy lights woven through the beams that support the barn’s elevated ceiling. Huge, medieval chandeliers refract candlelight around the room.
Ceremonies take place in the main barn. The terrace has views across the Bolton Abbey Priory ruins and the surrounding landscape. It has large fire pits and plenty of seating, so guests can enjoy the spectacular view during post-ceremony drinks.
Feast in style in The Tithe Barn, on food flame-grilled on a huge indoor BBQ and French rotisseries. Their in-house chefs buy the best, cook it simply and serve it generously.
The on-site Tithe Barn team are on hand to help with everything, from the big ideas to the last minute details.
