The Setting

Laid back by nature, The Swan is nestled within 17 acres of beautiful riverside grounds. It looks out onto one of the most stunning stretches of the Thames, surrounded by the rolling downs. Designed for fun and freedom, this picturesque hotel has been recently restored to offer thoughtful spaces for your special day.

The Swan provides an accessible location, just 40 minutes from London, 15 minutes from Reading, and within easy reach of the M4 and the A34.

The Vibe

The Swan at Streatley is filled with natural light, offering views of the river, gardens and surrounding countryside.

The hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies and has the capacity to hold 130 guests for a daytime reception and 200 for the evening. Whether you wish to relax by the bar or sit outside in front of the beautiful riverside settings, everyone can feel involved in the celebrations.

The Coppa Club Event Team provides all food, and they can also provide private dining should you wish to arrange a get-together with friends and family before the big day.

The wedding team will guide you through the whole process, offering help and advice where needed to ensure all details are taken care of so you can relax and enjoy your day. You and your guests may also like to make use of the 47 ensuite bedrooms. Many have stunning views of the gardens and river.

We had a truly magical day, thank you so much for all your help right from the start. Honestly, the team at Streatley are fabulous. Everything went exactly as planned – right down to the surprise of the singing waiter! Everyone was amazing and super friendly and helpful, we were both quite sad when it was all over, we would have loved to do it all over again! All of our guests raved about the entire event, from the Friday evening at the Coppa right through to the actual wedding on Saturday. The ceremony was just magical, the food was perfect and the drinks reception was wonderful. Hennes nailed it!

I think you’ll definitely be seeing some of our guests in the future, everyone loved the venue so much and we’re definitely planning on coming back for our 1st anniversary and hopefully before that as well.

The venue looked stunning, the staff (especially Hennes – who I think got dragged up for a dance by my bridesmaid) were lovely and helpful and the day flowed without any issues at all.
