The Setting

The Shack Revolution is a unique, creative space nestled within the beating heart of Hereford, a short walk away from hotels, transport links, bars and restaurants. The venue can hold up to 150 people, with numerous spaces for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. It’s perfect for couples who want a bespoke wedding day, and they always encourage creativity and individualism.

The Vibe

The Shack is an urban, industrial wedding and events space. They’re an easy-going, laid back and friendly team committed to giving you the day of your dreams.

Turn the corner from the busy streets of Hereford centre, and you’ll come across a hidden gem. There’s space at the front of the building for food trucks and sparkling lights for late-night photo ops. You’ll find industrial ceilings and features, wood-panelled walls, greenery, and bold graphic backdrops created by local artists.

The Lean-to, with stunning natural lighting, exposed brick walls, metal beams and the satisfying contrast between industrial and living plants is where the ceremony takes place. When you’re ready to let your hair down, they’ve got Shack Ping Pong tables and comfy sofas.

The Workshop is the perfect setting for dinner and partying, with long, rustic feasting tables, high ceilings and exposed brick. It’s cosy, intimate, and during dinner, speeches and dancing, it’s full of family, friends, laughter and love.

The Courtyard is ample open space for reception drinks and dancing. Bean bags, high tables and wooden benches are a great place for guests to chill out and have a catch-up. Although the venue is in the city, it has a beautiful view of the night sky surrounded by greenery and fairy lights.

We live 2 hours away from Hereford, and at some point during the wedding planning process we thought we made a mistake having a wedding that required such a long drive for our guests. However, we are beyond happy that we stuck with the Shack because working with them was just so easy, they were so accommodating and patient with us during the process and the communication was so clear that we were never left unsure of what’s happening!

On the day of our wedding, the team went above and beyond what was expected of them to make sure our day was perfect! At some point our draping fell and in a flash someone was there to fix it! – all this just to say if you want a unique venue where the vendors actually care about making your day perfect, and you’re not just a pay cheque, then we would 1000% recommend the shack.

You won’t be disappointed, your guests won’t be disappointed because the venue just feels so intimate and cosy because of the size.

We’ve received nothing by compliments about our wedding, and we are so lucky to have found this venue.

We are so grateful to Jacob, Emily and the team for the most amazing day, Jacob was with us on the day and nothing was too much trouble, and he was there the whole way through helping with every little thing, and we completely trusted him. He even helped us figure out timings for the music and pretended to be a bridesmaid walking down the aisle to make sure it all worked out! The whole team was so attentive and welcoming, and the venue looked amazing, it’s in a great location in town, and is really beautiful, perfect space with so much flexibility. We really couldn’t have had a better day, it was so relaxed and ran so smoothly. We loved every minute and would do it all again in a heartbeat. We recently hosted our wedding at The Shack Revolution and we can’t speak highly enough of it. From the get-go, our coordinator Emily helped us plan the ideal setup for a fun, no-stress ceremony. She always made time to see us when requested and ensured our wedding was one of a kind. They offered several in-house decorations for no cost and had so many tables to host everything from the wedding dinner to the cake, guestbooks and some board games we brought. Stellar service from Amy and the bar staff as well, who let us rename some of our favourite cocktails to custom names to make them more personal. They handled all requests with a smile and ensured no glass was left empty. If you’re looking for an alternative space for your wedding, we’d definitely give it our recommendation.
