You have Thursday and Friday to set up and the Sunday and Monday to pack up.

Additionally, the average spend per head for catering would be £45 – £50 plus VAT including canapés, main course, pudding and evening food.
Nestled down a winding, country lane lies The Secret Barn. Surrounded by open farmland with far reaching views of the South Downs, this authentically, rustic hideaway has beams and original flooring and is not a “done up” wedding barn. We love it all the more for it’s cracks and creaks.
If you are looking for a formal wedding-y venue then The Secret Barn is probably not it. If, however, you are looking for something more relaxed and properly rustic, well they have that in spades!
There is an orchard perfect for a ‘Darling Buds Of May’ style ceremony, old beams crying out for fairy lights, floorboards begging to be danced on and blankets strewn over the farmer’s haybales for toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. You get the idea.
Afterwards, you and your happy campers can trip trap over the rickety bridge to your tents in the paddock to sleep under the stars.
The barn has good access and disabled loos are available to hire if necessary. Simply speak with the team about your requirements.
No there isn't. We can organise and run a pay bar for you or you are welcome to bring along your own drinks which we can serve out to your guests.
Yes, we are very happy to hold your hand throughout the planning process if you would like us to and can make recommendations of lovely suppliers or are happy to take a backseat if you would prefer that.
Although we are currently unlicensed for legal ceremonies, we have had many different types of ceremonies and blessings of all kinds held either in our beautiful apple orchard or old wonky barn.
You have exclusive use of the site and we are by no means a wedding factory, only booking a very limited number of weddings each year so you will have access to the Barn to set up Thursday and Friday and clear up on the Sunday and Monday so lots of time to put your stamp on the venue.
Yes, the barn is set on a working farm so there are plenty of green open space where you could set up an outdoor marquee.
