The Pumping House

Absolutely incredible. We got married in early December 2023, and we can’t recommend the venue enough. Lian was brilliant, and on the day, everything was well organised and went according to plan. We wish we could do the whole thing all over again. The food was also exceptional—we had tapas and got so many compliments from our guests, so we would highly recommend it!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. This place, the staff, the location… everything was a 10/10.

Lian looked after us from the moment she took over, and I felt she was truly with me every step of the way. The food was excellent, and we could not get enough praise from our guests. The day itself ran so smoothly, and thank goodness, without a glitch. The Pumping House is very welcoming and personable, and every staff member, from the wedding coordinators to the security team, was so pleasant and welcoming.

I would recommend this place to anyone!!

The most amazing venue and staff.

As I said in my speech… ‘From the moment we walked into the Pumping House, we knew this was the venue for us, but what we didn’t know was simply how brilliant Lian would be; nothing was too much, and we are amazingly grateful to her.’

We were blown away the first time we set eyes on the pumping house. It has so many beautiful historic features and is a really unique wedding venue. Some amazing on-site accommodation also helped us cater for younger ones and grandparents in our family who we knew may struggle to last the whole day.

We were so impressed with our wedding coordinator Lian who made all our ideas possible and took away so much of the stress and strain. There wasn’t anything we suggested that wasn’t possible and she made everything run so smoothly on the day.

Having good quality food was always important to us, and the Pumping House had amazing options and worked with us to create some added options for our vegan guests. We had a relaxed tasting evening, trying the wines and different food options, which was brilliant and put our minds at ease for the big day. The pumping house and its team of staff made our special day perfect, and it is a fantastic wedding venue!

We had the most beautiful wedding day at The Pumping House, and we cannot thank the team enough for being so brilliant! A special thank you to the lovely Jo, who was simply amazing throughout the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was with us the whole day to ensure everything ran smoothly. A gorgeous venue set in a woodland area with lots of stunning spaces!

Well, one word to describe our experience at the Pumping House – magical!

The whole team was very supportive and informative from start to finish. They were very accommodating of our Harry Potter-themed/ballroom dancing-filled day and incredibly kind and understanding after a lot of family tragedies very close to the big day.

The food and service – were excellent; our guests loved the host a roast option as it was a fun icebreaker for all our tables. The venue – was so unique; we and our guests loved all of the themed rooms. The main hall – perfect for a ballroom dancer’s wedding as the space is huge, and most importantly, a wooden floor! Our wedding coordinator, Victoria, guided us through the whole process and made our day truly seamless; we couldn’t have asked for more!

If you’re getting married, I’d highly recommend this venue and the team! Jo, once again, thank you for everything you have done for us over the last few years. We appreciate everything you and your team have done!
