The Pelligon is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and weddings, offering an awe-inspiring backdrop beneath its glass dome. The versatile space accommodates both intimate gatherings and grand celebrations, with couples able to exchange vows against the stunning Thames views. Additional spaces, including the mezzanine and riverside terrace, provide intimate areas for pre- or post-ceremony moments.

Reception

For receptions, The Pelligon’s spacious layout can host up to 1,000 guests. The main hall, illuminated by natural light and high ceilings, offers a customisable setting for bespoke receptions. The mezzanine is ideal for cocktail hours or smaller dinner parties, while the riverside terrace provides a beautiful outdoor option. With customisable lighting, a high-quality PA system, and dedicated on-site staff, every reception can be tailored to reflect each couple’s vision. Additional features include Chiavari chairs, round tables, an elegant bar, and advanced lighting solutions.

Guests can access a range of nearby accommodations, making staying close to The Pelligon easy. Novotel London Canary Wharf offers stylish rooms with city views and modern amenities, while Tribe Canary Wharf provides a unique and vibrant stay. Both options are located just minutes from the venue.

The Pelligon offers a refined dining experience with flexibility for couples to select from an array of preferred caterers, including Moving Venue, Jimmy Garcia Catering, and Preeti Catering. Each caters with exceptional service and a commitment to sustainable practices. Couples are also welcome to bring their own caterers.

The Pelligon embraces eco-conscious practices, focusing on energy efficiency with LED lighting and mindful energy management. FAQs
Are you licensed for Civil Ceremonies?

Our Main Hall and Gallery are both licensed for Civil Ceremonies. Please note that if you would like the room turned around from a ceremony layout to a wedding reception, additional charges apply for staffing and furniture collection/delivery.

Can we have live flames in the venue?

The use of live flames is not permitted in the venue, with the exception of religious ceremonies that require a small live flame. To gain approval, we require a health and safety risk assessment to ensure the process is safe for all guests. There is an additional charge for a fire warden for the duration of the live flame.

Do you allow confetti in the venue?

Due to the flooring, confetti is not permitted in the venue. We suggest using real flower petals (excluding lilies) as an alternative.

Is there any parking available to guests?

There are three car parks on the estate which Canary Wharf operates. The closest car park to The Pelligon is Jubilee Place Car Park. Parking information can be found here: canarywharf.com/parking

How much does the deposit cost to secure my event date?

We ask for a £1,000 + VAT deposit to be paid upon signing your booking contract.

What is the cost for additional hours?

- Additional hour - pre-midnight: £750 + VAT

- Additional hour - post-midnight: £1,275 + VAT

Each rate includes Venue Hire, Event manager TEN's and Security.

Do you have additional space I can use for changing throughout the day?

Yes, absolutely. We can offer the Green Room, which is directly adjacent to the Main Hall. The additional hire for this space would be £1,500 + VAT.

Can I have different furniture or more than what is included in the package?

Yes, absolutely; please find costs below for varying/ additional furniture:

- 6ft wooden round tables - £15 + VAT each

- 6ft wooden trestle tables - £15 + VAT each

- Limewash Chiavari Chairs - £6 + VAT each

- Black Chiavari Chairs - £10 + VAT each

- Acrylic Chiavari Chairs - £10 + VAT each

- Ghost Victoria Chairs - £15 + VAT each

- Glass Silver Round Poseur Tables - £30 + VAT each

- Square Black & Marble Poseur Tables - £40 + VAT each

What is the fire warden cost?

£30 + VAT per hour (min of 6 hours).

Can I use the waterside terrace for my event?

The Waterside Terrace is your designated smoking area for the event. However, if you wish to host a drinks reception in this area, we can accommodate up to 120 guests with minimal furniture. Please note that an additional cost will apply for additional security.
