The Out Barn

We had our wedding at the Out Barn last weekend, and it was completely brilliant. It rained quite a bit on the day, and we barely noticed because there were so many different spaces under cover, from the cosy snug to the huge stretch tent space. So many guests kept coming up to us to say how great the venue was, especially the stunning views of Pendle Hill. We have to give a special shout-out to our coordinator Alice, who was completely fantastic in the lead-up to the wedding day, on top of every detail, so friendly and accommodating, and took so much of the stress out of planning. On the day, Alice was there at every turn, making sure things went smoothly, and when the day got off track through no fault of hers, she moved things around to make sure we could still get everything done in time. The rest of the staff on the day were brilliant too. We could not recommend the Out Barn more, and we’re so happy we chose it as our wedding venue

Married June 2024

Within a month of our engagement, we scheduled an appointment at The Out Barn and booked our date for August 24. It has a warm, cosy feel, which the staff heavily contribute to! We didn’t need to look anywhere else as we knew instantly this was where we wanted to get married! I’m a very detail-oriented person, and no request made to Jess, our designated coordinator, was too much of an ask! Anything I needed, she was there to help or give me the answers to! The open days they have every quarter allow people hoping to get married here to get a really good idea of what their wedding day could look like and they massively helped us with our planning. Our wedding turned out to be everything I dreamed of and more and I can’t thank Jess and the rest of the team at The Outbarn enough for all of their help!

Married August 2024

You probably hear this over and over again, but our wedding day was incredible. It exceeded all of our expectations and a lot of that was down to you guys. The feedback that our family and friends have given us about the venue, staff at the venue, food, service and whole day in general, is out of this world. We also can’t get over how seamlessly the day went and we felt so comfortable knowing that the day was in control.

Jess, you are the best wedding coordinator in the world and my Mum and Dad have mentioned you on a number of occasions, about how organised, caring and ON IT you were for every aspect of our day. Particularly the time you took to ensure that my grandparents were comfortable. We are so lucky that we had you looking after us.

The day ran so smoothly and there never seemed to be that ‘waiting around time’ that you usually get at weddings. We have the most amazing photos and I cannot wait to get our wedding video back. We will be recommending The Out Barn to any of our friends that are trying to find a wedding venue. I’m so jealous of anyone who has a wedding to come with you.

We recently got married here in September 2024, and I cannot thank The Out Barn enough for making this the best day of our lives. The venue is stunning, and the views just add to this! Everything was smooth, and even with a few hiccups, as these things happen on wedding days, the staff made us feel at ease and always had a backup plan (no one would have ever known).

As a DIY bride, I was worried about handing my vision over, but they honestly went above and beyond my expectations and brought our dream to life. You made the vision come to life, and I cannot be more grateful to you. I think doing a lot myself, I was worried it wouldn’t look how I had imagined or that it wouldn’t look good at all, but you honestly made it look amazing! It was above and beyond what I could ever imagine.

We had the lovely Alice taking care of us, and she is a credit to the Out Barn and honestly made the planning process so easy, and I felt truly in safe hands, which, as I did a lot myself, was a big ask to feel such at ease.

The day was honestly so amazing, and no thanks to you and the team, we had the best day ever. Everyone commented on how amazing it all looked, and the venue does speak for itself!

I couldn’t recommend this venue enough, and the team are a real credit to how this venue operates! It was the most perfect day, and we will be forever grateful.

Married September 2024

After visiting a few venues around the Ribble Valley, the moment we arrived at “the out barn”, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married.

Meeting the team on a drop-in session, we were impressed by their professionalism and friendly welcome; we felt like we were in good hands.

Alice was our coordinator; she was excellent! She organised the suppliers to work together and effectively to bring all the pieces of our wedding together like one big picture-perfect Jigsaw that projected my and Gina’s Dream into reality.

All our family and friends were super impressed, nothing but good feedback from them, making it a day to remember. Thank you so much for one of the best days of our lives

We had the most incredible day getting married here in April. The venue has the most amazing views, and is just as beautiful inside. We absolutely loved how flexible they were, which just made the day so personal.

From our visit everything felt really smooth, and that continued all the way through to our big day. Maia was our coordinator and she was amazing, and made sure everything was exactly as we wanted on the day. She even kept us calm and found a solution when one of our key suppliers let us down a week before the wedding!

Married April 2024

We got married at The Out Barn last month, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more! From the first day we visited The Out Barn, we knew this had to be our venue.
Aimee was our wedding coordinator, and she was amazing from start to finish! She was so welcoming, kind and gave us lots of advice when making our final decisions. Aimee was friendly and had such a calming presence on the morning of the wedding, which made us both feel at ease. Everything was so well organised on the day, and we didn’t have to think about anything as Aimee and the team had it all under control.

We met the majority of our suppliers (who were all amazing!) at the open days at the venue, which helped massively, as they were all familiar with the venue and its set-up. They all said how much they love it when they get a booking for The Out Barn, as it’s such a great venue.

Our guests loved the venue too and couldn’t get over the beautiful view. We would 100% recommend this venue to anybody looking for a wedding venue. The best day ever!

Married July 2025

We got married here in August 2024 and genuinely could not have picked a better venue and team for our day!

Our wedding coordinator, Jess, was absolutely brilliant, from our very first meeting with her right up until the day after the wedding. There was nothing we wanted that wasn’t allowed at the venue (we found a few other venues had long lists of things they don’t allow). We booked quite a lot of entertainment things for the drinks reception and evening and Jess co-ordinated all of them perfectly!

The whole team at The Out Barn was absolutely brilliant every time we went to the venue, and the staff who worked our wedding were amazing! So many of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was and how brilliant the staff were.

We honestly had the most amazing day of our lives and you guys were just the best. There was nothing you hadn’t thought of and it was so good to be able to just enjoy the day without thinking of any logistics. Emma, you were outstanding. We cannot speak more highly of you. You really made our day for us! All of our family and friends have been blown away by the venue and the service that was provided.

We fell in love with The Out Barn as soon as we visited and knew it would be the perfect location for our cosy Christmassy Indian/British fusion wedding. And we weren’t wrong – the gorgeous views and natural light during the day and the Christmas trees, fairy lights and fire pit in the evening were completely magical and the perfect backdrop to the best day of our lives.

Although the venue is stunning, the really amazing thing about the out barn was its incredible staff! They totally supported and inspired us to have two ceremonies, celebrating both of our heritages. The staff gave us loads of ideas on how to structure our day and make it flow really well.

Our coordinator, Jess, was a dream, guiding us through the whole process and being a total calming therapist on the day when things didn’t pan out exactly how we planned. The whole day was logistically pretty complex, and she managed it like a complete pro. I don’t think she’ll ever understand how important she was to making our wedding day so special.

I couldn’t recommend this venue and team enough, so flexible, supportive and of course it’s just completely stunning. Thank you guys so much.

The Out Barn was the perfect wedding venue. We cannot speak highly enough of it. It is a beautiful venue with a great main room with beautiful views overlooking a flower meadow. They have great outside space, some of it covered, as well as inside rooms, including a bar.

All the staff we encountered at The Out Barn from our first visit until the wedding day were absolutely phenomenal. Throughout the whole process, they were totally flexible to ensure we had the perfect day. Nothing was too much to ask, and they did everything they could to help and support us. The open days are a brilliant way to meet handpicked suppliers, we used many we met and they were all great, as well as a brilliant day out and a chance to show the venue to close family. Our wedding coordinator, Jess, was fantastic. She responded to every query, guided us to make sure we didn’t miss anything, and on the day when the registrar was late through no fault of the venue, they stepped in and resolved any issues with our timings. They took all the stress out of the day so we could just focus on enjoying ourselves.

The Out Barn allows you to personalise the day in numerous ways by using their recommended suppliers or any other suppliers you would wish to have. We had crazy golf! They also offer add-ons of their own, which are entirely optional. I would recommend the gin bar, which our guests loved. I would also recommend the farmhouse if it is available, as it is a lovely place to stay before or after the wedding!

Overall, we could not speak highly enough of the Out Barn; the staff are fantastic, and the venue is beautiful. Our guests absolutely loved it, and everyone had an amazing day.

I don’t know where to start but first of all we just wanted to say the BIGGEST thank you to every single one of you (inc all the staff behind the scenes) for making our day absolutely perfect. From start to finish of the whole process has been amazing, you’ve been there to answer every question we had and make this whole journey as stress free for us as possible.

Every single person who came was blown away at the venue and how well the day flowed so thank you from the bottom of our hearts because it would not have been the same without you all there making it perfect. I felt completely at ease on the day knowing I could leave it all in your hands and we wouldn’t have changed one thing.
