The Oak Barn is picture-perfect and the ideal space for a relaxed, rustic wedding. It’s so beautiful that minimal decoration is required. Deana, Tim and their team were fantastic throughout the process, from our initial viewing to the day itself. Their professionalism and expertise are second to none, and they really care about making your day perfect. Our wedding was on a particularly wet and rainy day, but Deana had advice for us and the other vendors to ensure everything went without a hitch. We stayed at the cottages from Friday to Sunday. They are lovely in themselves, and it helped us to relax knowing that everything was ready to go on Saturday morning and meant we could have a big family dinner the night before. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They are worth every penny.

Dear Tim & Deana, we just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for hosting our big day on Saturday. The venue looked incredible and so many of our guests commented on how gorgeous the barn was. It really helped us to achieve the cosy, boho chic vibe that we wanted. We barely had to decorate as the architecture of the barn itself is so beautiful that it created the perfect ambience.

The space is very flexible as well, enabling us to get the intimate atmosphere we really wanted for our wedding ceremony. Having two spaces in The Byre and the main barn was absolutely perfect. From the outset we wanted somewhere with more than one space so that we could have a live band and not have to worry about being disturbed by sound checks, and your set-up was ideal for our needs. Even though the weather was fairly grey and dull, the countryside views from The Byre were gorgeous and we loved being able to get some photographs on the pontoon by the pond.

We also loved our stay in the bridal cottage. It might sound silly but all the lovely little finishing touches like soft towels, nice shampoo and conditioner in the showers, a really comfy bed and well equipped kitchen made it feel like a luxury experience. We really loved being able to stay on site with our closest friends and family, and the fact it’s a secure gated location was perfect for our daughter to toddle around and go and see the field of sheep whenever she wanted! Our best man is already talking about coming back to stay there with his family.

Thank you so much to both of you as well for being so wonderful to work with. From the outset you’ve been incredibly efficient and informative, super accommodating and generally lovely and friendly – we didn’t have this experience with some of the venues we looked at before choosing The Oak Barn, it really makes a difference! Thanks also for being on hand during the day to deal with any little things that cropped up. No event will ever run 100% smoothly and it’s often how these little niggles are dealt with that make or break the day, and you certainly ensured our day was made.

You really have something special in The Oak Barn and we’re so pleased that you’re already getting lots of bookings from other brides and grooms. Being early to the party we really feel like we’ve had an exclusive invite to the next big deal in Kent wedding venues and we’re certainly going to do our bit to create a buzz on your behalf. Best of luck with everything – our only sadness about the whole thing is that it’s now over! But we can’t wait to see our wedding photos and share them with you.

For anyone looking to book an event or wedding venue at the moment, I would highly recommend the Oak Barn, Frame Farm. Due to restrictions, we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding. Deana and Tim, who run the Oak Barn, have been absolutely amazing and supportive throughout. From the outset, they were extremely accommodating and have shown so much compassion, understanding and kindness. We feel very fortunate to have selected this venue, not only for its beauty, but because of the safe hands we’re in with such a down to earth couple. They clearly want our big day to be the best it can be and have made this difficult decision, a seamless process. As a result, we are now looking forward to getting married in 2021 at this spectacular venue, even more than before.

Stunning venue which ticked all the boxes for our December Winter Wedding. Deana and Tim were brilliant from start to finish. The natural beauty of the barn meant there was little additional decoration needed and having the use of The Byre as well as The Oak Barn allowed for rooms to be turned around at no inconvenience. The self-catering cottages are of a high standard and were brilliant for our older guests to retreat to later in the night. We had a fantastic wedding day at the Oak Barn, are forever grateful for all of their help to make this possible and we highly recommend for future brides & grooms!

For a long time, before we got engaged, I had been dreaming about my wedding day, so I had a pretty good idea of the kind of venue we’d like for our big day. We had ruled out a lot of venues quite quickly and made an agreement that we would only go and view venues that ticked a lot of boxes. The Oak Barn was the first wedding venue we viewed, and it was also the last. From our very first viewing with Hayley, we absolutely fell in love with the stunning barn, accommodation, grounds and facilities that were on offer. Once we secured our date, we were lucky enough to have Hayley as our ‘go-to’ from start to finish. She managed to keep me relatively calm throughout the whole process – even the day before on set up! I will be forever grateful for her professionalism and advice and for being so responsive, I actually felt extremely sad after the wedding that I wouldn’t be liaising with her on a daily basis!! Apart from the venue being just purely stunning, one of the main reasons we chose The Oak Barn is how flexible they were with making our day personalised to us. No corkage fees meant that we were able to offer our guests free drinks throughout the day and night which was important to us, we also worked closely with one of their chosen caterers as well as having a pizza van in the evening.

We booked a full weekend wedding, the day before the wedding we used for set up and we also had a BBQ and some drinks on site with our nearest and dearest – this felt so special to us to be able to spend this time together and our night manager really looked after us. On the morning of the wedding, Hayley made sure everything ran smoothly, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing – she even set my dress right before walking down the aisle! The accommodation is modern, beautiful and clean – the perfect space for us to all get ready with full facilities. When Hayley was on her days off, I also had assistance from Deana, Tim and Chrystelle, who were incredibly efficient and helpful. Every single detail of this venue has been considered carefully to make it the beautiful place it is! All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you, Hayley and team, for making our dreams become a reality!

We got married here in September and honestly had the best experience. Incredible venue, wonderful owners and truly amazing recommendations on suppliers. Beautiful grounds, stunning accommodation and The Oak Barn is just the cherry on top. Could not more highly recommend this for your special day.

Just wow, really! It’s hard to put into words our wedding day at The Oak Barn in October 2023. From the moment we arrived for the first viewing, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. The setting is stunning and totally unique. We were lucky with gorgeous autumnal weather, but even in the pouring rain, this would be the place we would want to get married! We had so many compliments from guests about how beautiful it was. All of the staff are so friendly and happy to help, nothing is too much bother from the initial look round to the day after the wedding.

Special thanks to Chrystelle, who was our main contact in the build-up, and on the day, she was invaluable in getting everything to run smoothly and meant we could just focus on enjoying the special moments. Can’t wait to come back and visit for a stay in the cottages, another lovely touch and reason to book The Oak Barn, to come back and relive the memories for years to come. Thank you!

Married October 2023

We had an August wedding here and couldn’t recommend it more. This venue was everything we hoped for and the day was perfect. Where to start… The Oak Barn itself is beautiful. If you have a barn in mind this will be how it looks. Plus, it’s been upgraded with smart lighting and a great sound system. It has a bar space inside you can use, plus lots of nice touches – like tables made from a tree on site. We also made use of The Byre for the ceremony itself. Lovely open views of the fields (we wanted the sheep to be visible which they kindly helped facilitate) and it opens onto a terrace for refreshments afterwards. Using this made it super easy for us as the Barn could already be set up for us to use for the breakfast. No stress setting it up between ceremony and food. We also loved the cottages on site and used them before and after the day. They’ve been furnished to a great standard and the convenience of being on site both nights cannot be overstated. The outside spaces are perfect for pictures, and combined with the nice weather meant everyone had a wonderful time mingling. Finally, Tim and Deana were the best hosts, giving us helpful suggestions and supporting us throughout the stressful planning. Plus, their dog is the best!! All in all, this venue literally ticked every box for us. And it was the second one we looked at! Don’t hesitate to use it if you like what you see.

We were lucky enough to get married at The Oak Barn, Frame Farm in October 2020 and would highly recommend this amazing venue to anyone planning a wedding or other special event. The Oak Barn and the on-site cottages have been beautifully renovated and restored to the highest standards, combining luxury and comfort. The owners Tim & Deana were a pleasure to deal with from the very beginning, and although we unfortunately had to postpone our original April wedding plans due to the pandemic, they made such a positive difference to our wedding planning experience through these difficult times. They are understanding, flexible and so helpful, always responding quickly and positively to any queries and working with us to plan our special day. We decided to go ahead with our ‘mini-wedding’ this year and enjoyed a small, intimate celebration with our close family – the venue is perfectly suited to smaller scale events as well as larger weddings and we’ll be returning next year for the big party and wedding reception with all of our original guests – we cannot wait!

Awesome venue and amazing owners. Due to the constantly changing regulations on weddings due to Covid-19, we unfortunately didn’t yet have the chance to celebrate our wedding at The Oak Barn. We can though share how an amazing experience we have had so far despite the postponement of our wedding. Tim and Deana have been truly amazing, flexible and caring for us. Always putting our wishes and need first. All meetings have been a pleasure and always led to agreement on what is the best for us. We have had constant support in each step of the organisation and also to rearrange all for next year. We have full confidence that we will have a blast when we finally can celebrate our wedding there. Thanks so much to both Tim and Deana for their amazing service and dedication. The venue is absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to celebrate next year.

Our Beautiful Barn Wedding – we absolutely loved having our wedding at The Oak Barn, Frame Farm in early June 2019. Deana and Tim helped make our wedding such a special occasion, they were incredibly accommodating with all of our enquires, super friendly and easy to contact throughout our wedding planning process. We have received so many compliments from friends and family in relation to the Barn, many of whom were so incredibly amazed by how such a characterful venue could retain such charm and authenticity while having been modernised to such an incredibly high standard. We couldn’t have asked for anymore.

We made the ultimate mistake of visiting this venue first when starting to plan our big day. Nowhere else compared.

The views (and sheep!), the beautiful barn and Byre (a choice of indoor or outdoor ceremonies), the well-furnished cottages for all to stay, and just the perfect feel for a wedding.

They provided a list of recommended suppliers who have worked (and are trusted) at their venue, which gave us a great starting point, although they were more than accommodating for anyone new.

Very helpful in the run-up to the day, compiling a complete run-through of the day—with floor layouts and supplier details (and getting in contact with each supplier on our behalf to ensure they were equipped with all the info for the day). Even on the day, Tim was great at resolving any small hiccups that appeared.
