Nestled in woodland and surrounded by fruit orchards, The Night Yard is located in the heart of Kent, just 10 minutes from Canterbury. Dating back to 1898, the Historic Night Yard was once a brick-built cattle shelter. Retaining its original charm and history, and with the new addition of a stunning glasshouse, The Night Yard makes for a truly relaxed Kentish Wedding Venue.
You have a choice of ceremony options. The Courtyard, an outdoor space at the heart of the venue, has a distinctive set-up with two gated entrances, allowing couples to walk down the aisle together. Alternatively, The Glasshouse, an indoor setting with oak flooring, festoon lighting, and dimmable chandeliers, provides all the space, air, and light you need to make your wedding day as tranquil as possible.
The Glasshouse transitions seamlessly into the reception space, where guests can dine and celebrate. The Courtyard transforms post-ceremony into an open area for drinks and canapés, offering a relaxed atmosphere before the evening celebrations.
The Night Yard has a fully stocked and staffed bar to keep the drinks flowing. You can also create a bespoke drinks package so you know your guests won’t go thirsty.
Food can be sourced through their fantastic handpicked caterers. They can create anything you have in mind, from afternoon tea to three-course meals.
The venue is conveniently located just ten minutes from Canterbury and an hour from London via the fast train.
