The Manor Holcombe

The Manor Holcombe was the perfect setting for our wedding week and we could not have imagined a better place to celebrate with friends and family. We truly looked high and low all over England for a setting that fit us as a couple, and everything we were looking for we found at The Manor Holcombe.

As all of our guests began to arrive, they were amazed by the beauty of the house and the gardens and continued to be throughout the week. On Tuesday, our first full day in the house, we provided in-house spa treatments for the whole wedding party booked through the Manor, and it was so wonderful to give our friends the gift of relaxation after travel.

The Holcombe Farmshop down the road provided the coffee and wonderful breakfast that we all needed after international travel, and we visited almost daily throughout the week! That evening, we kicked off our wedding week with his and hers celebrations in Bath; our hen and stag parties! It’s so convenient and wonderful that The Manor Holcombe is close to Bath as you get the experience of the countryside and one of our favourite cities in England close by. On Wednesday, we visited Cheddar Gorge and went on a hike with our bridal party before returning to the Manor for afternoon tea and welcoming our extended family to England. The afternoon tea was truly amazing and was almost set up by Maryam! In the afternoon, we all took a dip in the pool and enjoyed a welcome dinner with our entire group, and it really felt like the wedding celebrations began.

The wedding arrived, and the house provided the most stunning backdrop for all of our photos and a wonderful time with our loved ones. We returned to The Manor for our reception and wedding dinner. The wedding meal continued with toasts upon toasts as all of our family and friends gathered at a long table on the lawn; the design I always pictured, and it was truly perfect. We danced the night away and finished the evening with board games; because that’s what you can do when you’re staying with all of your dearest friends in a large house!

We could not be more thankful for everything Maryam, Olivia and the team did to make our week and wedding day truly the wedding of our dreams. We will forever hold the Manor Holcombe close to our hearts and hope to visit again in the future to re-live our incredible week in the English countryside.

Oh where do I even start! We almost cried leaving the house we loved it so so much! It has EVERYTHING you could need and more! We seriously have the blues being home! Emma was just incredible. So friendly, and on hand anytime you need her. We would LOVE to come back! I have recommended the house to EVERYONE I know. You are really looked after here!
