From the moment you arrive along the beautiful tree-lined driveway, you’ll know The Hangar at Kesgrave Hall is the perfect Suffolk setting for your wedding day. Kesgrave Hall is set in over 38 acres of lawn and woodland, close to Woodbridge and Ipswich and the A12 in Suffolk. Train stations are at Ipswich and Woodbridge.
With an exclusive reception area and tiered landscaped gardens for your guests to mingle in, this purpose-built venue can accommodate between 80 and 300 guests. After enjoying a great meal – with the perfect food and wine choices thanks to their fabulous catering team – you can take to the dance floor as the party really gets underway!

Wow what a wonderful wedding venue. From the moment we first saw ‘The Hangar’ and the grounds at Kesgrave Hall Rebecca and I knew this was the venue we had been searching for. Stylish, modern and in a beautiful setting, it ticked every box. The staff made the whole experience easy from day one. They were always at the end of the phone or an email to respond to our every wish, and more importantly to offer their advice on the areas where we had little experience. Catherine, the wedding manager, responded to calls and emails very quickly and kept excellent records of our requests. Leading up to the big day we had total confidence in the team who who’d be responsible for making it all happen behind the scenes and they did not let us down. The food and service was wonderful and we received so many comments saying it was the best wedding food many of our guests had ever had. The timings were seamless and the staff executed the plan we had agreed to perfection. We couldn’t have asked for better. Milsoms worked seamlessly with our suppliers and everything was set out exactly how we asked. The service from the team on the day was exemplary. Our guests stayed in the hotel rooms at Milsoms and everyone thought they has been given the honeymoon suite by mistake! The residents bar was very relaxed and well attended. The breakfast was lovely and we were allowed to spend time in the lounge after breakfast at our leisure which was meant we had time to catch up with our nearest and dearest after the party was over. Rebecca and I thoroughly recommend ‘The Hangar’ as a wedding venue. It has a unique, almost magic feel to it. The Milsoms brand has a superior reputation, and certainly lives up to all expectations.

We have just returned from our Honeymoon and wanted to drop you a line regarding our wedding on Friday 21st June. In simple terms, the experience that you and the team created for us was absolutely faultless! There was not one single element of the day that we felt not up to our desired standard. On this basis, you will not be surprised to hear that we feel the whole Milsoms Wedding experience surpassed our expectations. We have had several guests mention to us that they were so impressed on how the appearance of the venue appeared to change effortlessly as the day progressed in to evening, and how the venue/location created a relaxed and very welcoming atmosphere. We of course wanted to say “Thank you” which sounds like a throw away comment, and doesn’t really illustrate the regard in which we hold you and the team, but we will say it none the less! We look forward to returning to the venue again in the near future, where I am sure we will have another memorable stay.

We do not offer wedding packages at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall, every wedding day is bespoke and we offer different menus and drinks for every couple. However to give you an idea of pricing at this stage, typically drinks cost £30 per person and our average three course menu costs £50 per person.
Many couples decide to stay the night before their wedding day to take full advantage of all our spa facilities. We offer day spa packages, massage, beauty treatments and bridal make up.
