Check in 4pm on the day of arrival, check out 3pm on the day of departure

The Setting

The Canary Shed is an exclusive-hire wedding venue with onsite accommodation on a pretty farm located in Burnham on Crouch.

Burnham-on-Crouch station is on the Crouch Valley branch line, just an hour from London making it a super easy location for your guests!

The Vibe

At the Canary Shed they like to do things a little differently. They believe that your wedding should be more than just one day, after all, it is the best day of your life so why not make a weekend of it!

Stay with your nearest and dearest for two nights; have a big meal as a family the night before, style out the venue to make it your own, get ready together in the morning… and then, party like there’s no tomorrow with up to 120 of your favourite people on your big day!

Well what can we say or where to start, you and the team were absolutely fantastic, you really made our wedding day perfect. It was not just the timing of the day ensuring everything flowed seamlessly, but it was the little items such as making sure people had pizzas (and went and got them), and bottles of drink in the barns. You looked after the caterers to ensure that the food was first class and laid out so incredibly well. You made everyone feel at home and relaxed, and we have had nothing but positive feedback from every single person.
Your pre-planning, keeping us on track, the outstanding venue, the faultless accommodation and the absolutely amazing staff, made our weekend something to remember.

What a stunning, laid back and quirky venue. We had been engaged for 7 yrs before finally booking our wedding, and The Canary Shed was the first and only venue we looked at. It ticked so many boxes for us so we went for it, and it was the right decision.

From the moment we booked to the time we checked out (the day after the wedding) it was laid back and fun. All the staff were so helpful and our guests said it was the best wedding they’d been to. Thank you for making our day the best day of our lives.

Our wedding was out of this world, The Canary Shed is an absolutely stunning venue and we wish we could do it all over again. The staff were so lovely and went out of their way to be incredibly helpful. We loved that our wedding celebrations could be spread out over a weekend and loved that we could have family and friends stay in the accommodation alongside us. Everything was dog friendly which was extra bonus points for us as we had all 3 family pets at our wedding which made it extra special.

We will be visiting for years to come and love the parlour cafe that is on site too, lovely food and drinks options. We would also like to give a big shout out to Jade who helped us along the way and for being such a lovely human being.
