The Canary Shed

We first discovered The Canary Shed before we were even engaged, and we knew right then that it was a must-visit venue. Once we were engaged, it was the only venue we saw, and we instantly fell in love with it. It was perfect for us as a couple who loves colour, music, and a relaxed atmosphere.

The venue provided the ideal setting, allowing us creative freedom, but what made the experience truly exceptional was the friendly staff, especially Jade and Anna. They made the entire process seamless, from the lead-up to the wedding day. We had two productive meetings beforehand, and they created a comprehensive spreadsheet with everything we needed. This organisation made planning the wedding and the actual day feel incredibly stress-free.

Our wedding day was incredibly special—everything we imagined and more. It wouldn’t have been so amazing without such a great team and a beautiful, unique venue. Thank you!

Where do we even begin! It’s hard to put into words just how amazing both of you and your team were for our wedding weekend. We are on cloud 9!

Thank you for your seamless execution of the day and for helping everything flow so beautifully. We were both so relaxed during the day (and that’s not my natural way of being), but I felt completely at ease with you all at the helm.

We have had constant messages flooding in from our guests today with nothing but praise for the day, and what a beautiful celebration it was. And a lot of that comes down to your hard work.

It’s not an easy job, but you made it look it! We will, of course, share photos with you when we have received them.

We had the best day of our lives getting married at the Canary Shed. The venue is absolutely stunning and offers lovely on site accommodation for us and our close friends to get ready in and spend time together. Jade, and the whole canary shed team were impeccable from day 1, whether it was dealing with our incessant queries and mind-changing, helping us test run our nerdy little homemade escape room elements, or taking care of all the details on the day to help keep our stress levels right down.
Everything went so incredibly smoothly, and that was 100% down to Jade and her all-encompassing shared spreadsheet, we couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator.

We can’t get over our amazing wedding at the Canary Shed. Jade, Paige, and the rest of the team can’t do more for you, but at the same time, it’s so relaxed. They made the wedding planning process so easy. And during the wedding, they were one step ahead of everything we needed. All our guests loved it and kept saying how beautiful and unique the venue was. We loved how easy it is to make your day personal to what you want. I am so happy we chose the Canary Shed. You can celebrate all weekend, not just one day, which makes it more special. The lodges are beautifully decorated, and all our guests had an amazing weekend. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

What a stunning, laid back and quirky venue. We had been engaged for 7 yrs before finally booking our wedding, and The Canary Shed was the first and only venue we looked at. It ticked so many boxes for us so we went for it, and it was the right decision.

From the moment we booked to the time we checked out (the day after the wedding) it was laid back and fun. All the staff were so helpful and our guests said it was the best wedding they’d been to. Thank you for making our day the best day of our lives.

We had the best wedding at the Canary Shed, and this is all down to Jade, Paige and the team – all communication was clear with multiple emails and meet-ups; checking in to make sure we were ok and not at one point did we feel at all stressed about the wedding!

As for the the big day itself – it ran so smoothly and the fact that we knew we had the venue for the three days made it the most relaxed and chilled vibe; knowing we could set it up on the Friday and create it how we wanted and also having the accommodation literally a stones throw away made it that extra bit special.

The accommodation was well equipped with everything you needed; the beds were super comfy and it was so nice to have a meal the night in ‘The Granary’ before the wedding with all family and friends to celebrate! The fact that there’s a great café on site that does amazing food and spa too means that there are options for everyone!

So please if your looking for a wedding with that special touch, relaxed and colourful vibe.. look no further – The Canary Shed is the place for you!

Our wedding at the canary shed was everything we dreamed of! The venue is just amazing, and Jade and the team are absolutely fantastic. Jade made us feel like our wedding was her sole focus for the full 18 months planning (which obvs wasn’t the case and all her other couples felt the same!) She is completely unflappable and not only helped organise all the suppliers beforehand, but gave us some excellent wedding planning tips, and kept everything running smoothly on the day. The team is amazing, the venue is incredible, and we just want to do it again tomorrow!

After viewing multiple wedding venues, we completely fell in love with The Canary Shed and booked it pretty much straight after the first meeting with Jade! We had never seen a venue like it, and the fact that you can turn your wedding day into a whole weekend is something that we absolutely loved.

From the first meeting, everything was SO relaxed and taken care of by Jade and Paige that we never felt stressed or worried about any part of the process. They are the dream team who go above and beyond to ensure you have the best day of your life, something that we feel incredibly lucky to have experienced at The Canary Shed. Planning and organising a wedding can be incredibly overwhelming when liaising with venues, suppliers, etc, but Jade and Paige were always on hand to answer our (many!) questions and took control of the entire process. We dread to think what it would have been like without them!

The Canary Shed itself is the most unique and vibrant venue that allows you to step away from a ‘traditional wedding’ and throw the party of your life. Unless you see The Canary Shed in person, explaining how magical it really is is impossible. A huge selling point for us was that you could have 30 guests stay on site for the whole weekend and be within walking distance from the venue to your bedroom… no faffing around with transportation from the ceremony and reception!

We can’t recommend the venue any more, and we will be back to visit in the future. Thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

Well what can we say or where to start, you and the team were absolutely fantastic, you really made our wedding day perfect. It was not just the timing of the day ensuring everything flowed seamlessly, but it was the little items such as making sure people had pizzas (and went and got them), and bottles of drink in the barns. You looked after the caterers to ensure that the food was first class and laid out so incredibly well. You made everyone feel at home and relaxed, and we have had nothing but positive feedback from every single person.
Your pre-planning, keeping us on track, the outstanding venue, the faultless accommodation and the absolutely amazing staff, made our weekend something to remember.

We will come and visit you again as you, the team and the venue have very special memories for us.

Our wedding was out of this world, The Canary Shed is an absolutely stunning venue and we wish we could do it all over again. The staff were so lovely and went out of their way to be incredibly helpful. We loved that our wedding celebrations could be spread out over a weekend and loved that we could have family and friends stay in the accommodation alongside us. Everything was dog friendly which was extra bonus points for us as we had all 3 family pets at our wedding which made it extra special.

We will be visiting for years to come and love the parlour cafe that is on site too, lovely food and drinks options. We would also like to give a big shout out to Jade who helped us along the way and for being such a lovely human being.
