The historic, oak-framed barn combines the timeless beauty of an old-world barn with the elegance of a Victorian glasshouse. Ceremony

Somersbury Barn offers several licensed areas for civil ceremonies. The Barn Garden and Tipi Meadow accommodate up to 120 guests, while the intimate Glasshouse is perfect for smaller gatherings of around 40 guests. For couples desiring a traditional church service, several charming village churches are located nearby.

We are so delighted we chose Somersbury Barn for our wedding venue. It could not have been more perfect! We took a bit of a punt booking when the barn conversion works were still underway but it was clear that everything was going to be finished to an exceptionally high standard and in fact it far exceeded our high expectations.

We loved the fact there we had indoor and outdoor space (and a wet weather contingency plan!) and made full use of the beautiful glasshouse as a Moroccan themed cocktail bar which was a huge success! The barn itself was stunning and needed very little by way of decoration. Lucinda was on hand the whole way through the process, speaking to our suppliers when needed and patiently answering all our questions. We were even able to stay in the gorgeous room off the barn which was a lovely touch. All our guests were wowed by this off the beaten track jewel of a venue.
