The vibe at Solara Shores leans into easy-going, festival-style celebrations. Picture cocktail hours in the Mediterranean Courtyard, live music drifting from the outdoor stage, tractors and animals in the distance, hay bales, festoon lighting, and an open-air bar and grill bringing everyone together. When it’s time to dine and dance, the barns offer the best of both worlds: the Great Barn for intimate feasts of up to 100 guests, and the Hay Barn, with its seamless indoor-outdoor flow, welcoming up to 200 guests ready to celebrate beneath the rafters and the stars.
All around, Solara Shores feels like a coastal hideaway made for slow moments and unforgettable memories. Mismatched furniture, fire pits, wood-fired cooking, and sweeping sea views at every turn create an atmosphere that’s warm, eclectic, and effortlessly cool.
At the heart of Solara Shores lies the secluded Cliff Top Chapel, a quiet, natural setting overlooking miles of unspoilt coastline, and a truly breathtaking place to begin married life.
The wedding barn offers the perfect spot for a gathering of all your nearest and dearest. It’s a setting that feels untouched, relaxed, and wonderfully your own, perfect for couples drawn to laid-back coastal romance. It accommodates up to 100 guests for daytime celebrations and up to 200 for evening receptions.
The venue offers 54 bedrooms, with lodges for the night before and a honeymoon suite overlooking the waves. Planned expansions will increase its capacity to 64 bedrooms, ensuring your guests are comfortably accommodated.
At Solara Shores, they offer one of the largest wedding menus in the UK, tailored to each couple’s imagination and limitless in options. From a traditional three-course wedding breakfast to elegant afternoon tea, Spanish feasts and chargrilled BBQs. The venue also offers carefully crafted cocktails, handpicked lagers and cask ales from across the north, and fine wines.
Positioned between Scarborough and Whitby, within the North York Moors National Park, the location provides striking cliffside views and a distinctive setting for your guests to explore.
