As the Father of the Bride I am writing to thank you and your staff for your superb service on the 8th of July. I have always worked in customer facing services and have to compliment you on your attention to detail at every stage of our day which went without a hitch.

I was so impressed by the table service, something many guests spoke to me about, which was so fluid and efficient. I also noticed how you placed the flowers throughout the weekend to the best effect without any prompting.

The food was excellent and the evening food just kept coming throughout the evening so that guests could enjoy hot pizza at a time to suit them. The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean.

Somehow you managed to give us excellent and attentive service whilst being so discreet it was almost as if things just happened by magic.

On behalf of myself and my wife I would like to thank you so much for making our time with you so special. Please pass our thanks on to all your staff who contributed to making our day such a success.

We just wanted to thank you again for the faultless organisation and commitment to making our special day so incredibly smooth. I’ve had countless amounts of guests coming up to me and commenting on how it’s the best wedding (and evening reception) that they’ve ever been to, and many more feeding back how amazing the food was.

We could not have dreamt of a more beautiful day, which was obviously helped massively with the weather, but also the dedication and professionalism of your team, who are an absolute asset.

We looked at a few venues, but Rockbeare Manor was our first, and we found that with subsequent venues we were always comparing with Rockbeare, which told us in our minds and hearts that it would be the right venue for us. We are so glad we decided to spend our special day with you.

We would just like to say a huge thank you to you and all the team at Rockbeare Manor. From start to finish you and the Rockbeare team have been nothing but amazing. We really had the most fantastic day on Saturday and that’s thank you, to your team, The chef – both Rhys & I plus family and all our guests were simply blown away by the food. Michelin stars and beyond you just nailed it. Can’t believe how good the steak was. Our guests have said it’s the best wedding food they ever had and I second that! You really should be proud of your talent for what you did on Saturday. The waiting and bar staff – excellent in every way, service was 5 star, smiley, polite and so attentive. You really are a real credit to the Rockbeare Manor name.

Just a message to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU from Karen and I. We were absolutely delighted with how the day was managed and with how accommodating and professional all the staff were on the day. The venue itself is gorgeous, but it can only fulfil it’s potential with a great team… and the team you have is absolutely fantastic. All of our guests had nothing but positive things to say… from the setting to the food, from the accommodation to the staff. With all of our hearts, THANK YOU.

We honestly had the day of our dreams! We still can’t talk about it without welling up. It was just truly magical! All of our guests have been talking about how beautiful the venue was, how relaxed the day felt and how everything flowed seamlessly, and of course how stunning the food was. You really made everything so special and we cannot thank you all enough for making what everyone is saying the best wedding they have ever been to!

My husband and I got married here back in July. Honestly, there is nothing to fault. The staff, the food and of course the venue – everything was pure perfection! I just wish we could do it all over again! Having exclusive use was just incredible and being able to have our family stay at the venue and enjoy a beautiful breakfast together the following morning was more than we could have ever dreamed for our wedding! Thank you so much for literally making our wedding the best day of our lives!

Davy and Helen. What can I say! Thank you so so much for everything you both did to ensure we had the best wedding day ever! It far exceeded all of our dreams and expectations! Everything went so smoothly and effortlessly that we didn’t have to think about anything all day and could just be totally present in our wedding and we are hugely grateful to you both for that. Davy – you literally had everything covered! From making sure we had canapés during our photos, to bringing us a pasty at the end of the night – somehow knowing that we wouldn’t have had much of a chance to eat ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble and you were omnipresent from our arrival until we left the next day. Thank you so so much for everything – you were beyond incredible. Also, we have to mention the food which was insane! We’ve had loads of people say it was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding (I don’t think there was a single crumb of crème brulee left anywhere!) Thank you both so much for your help with setting up as well. The place just looked so beautiful – I was totally overwhelmed when I arrived so thank you for leading the suppliers and getting everything done so we could just chill and relax. And the effort that was made to ensure that the breakfast room was decorated and everyone ate together the next morning was such a lovely touch – it made the whole event feel extra special. Basically, you totally made it for us and we feel incredibly grateful.

Now that the madness of the wedding is over, we just wanted to take the time to say thank you so much for absolutely everything. We knew that the staff and the venue were exceptional from the moment we booked you, but the actual day truly exceeded our expectations and then some. I am sure that there are countless people working away in the background who also deserve our profound thanks, but it is to you that we wish to extend the biggest thanks of all – you have been relentless in your dedication to our happiness and our vision for the day.

Thank you so much. There are no words. We can tell that it is not just a job for you but a calling. There really are no other words to describe what you did for us and what keeps you showing up for work every single day, making people feel like they are the only wedding you are overseeing when, in reality, we know that there are countless. We may only be one of the many weddings you will be a part of this year (or this decade!), but this will be our only one, and you really made us feel for the whole year like our wedding was the only one in the world.

Thank you again – we will of course be sending a formal thank you card when we have our photos, for you to pin in the office with the rest but we couldn’t let any more time pass before sending this message.

We just wanted to email to say thank you so much for helping on our day! You were incredible, so organised and calm and that helped us relax so much as we just felt we could trust that you would sort everything out – which you did!

We had the best day ever, we wouldn’t have changed anything and we have spent all of Saturday and most of today still talking about it! We had so many compliments on the venue and on how helpful literally all the staff were, which made it extra special. My mum even said how lovely the house keepers were.

Married July 2024

We had our wedding on the 28th October at Rockbeare Manor and we truly had the most amazing day possible. From the first moment we saw the venue and met the team we both knew this was the place for us, other venues just couldn’t match up! Not only is the Manor House simply stunning but the grounds are beautiful too. All of our guests commented on how special the venue was. From start to finish the Rockbeare team provided great service and we’re always happy to help/advise and answer queries. All the staff were very incredibly friendly, happy and professional which helped make the day go perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious too, we certainly would recommend the beef along with the burgers for the evening food. The burgers went down a storm, we still have guests talking about them now, they we’re absolutely delicious! All our guests had a fabulous time and the newly renovated rooms to stay over were simply stunning! We would recommend this place to anyone, it was the perfect venue for our dream wedding and can’t thank you all enough. If you are planning a wedding at this fantastic venue, you certainly won’t be disappointed. We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast the following morning with all our other guests which was a great way to finish off a magical weekend. Thank you again so much for an incredible wedding day, it’s a day which we will cherish and remember forever.

Now we’re back to the normality of every day life, I wanted to reach out to say the biggest thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Rockbeare Manor was the perfect venue, there are no words to explain how pleased we were, and to be hosted by the most incredible people was a privilege. Jessica and Davy, we honestly couldn’t have asked for more amazing hosts, thank you so very much to you and your team… Special mention to Cameron for making our evening so special on Friday night too. From start to finish – your organisation, calming influence, patience and fun loving professionalism was incredible, on the most important day of our lives we couldn’t have wished for more. You are a credit to Rockbeare and should be commended for your relentless hard work and understanding of what makes your guests happy. You were like magicians and Jessica, you were so incredibly kind to keep running around like you did on the big day! You were everywhere and nowhere at the same time, like a wonderful flitting fairy magician who made sure that everyone’s day/evening was perfect but without being seen! I hope you are both well rewarded as you honestly are the best event planners/hosts we have ever had the pleasure to meet. I will highly recommend Rockbeare Manor to everyone, our guests all absolutely loved their time there too. Many said it was the best wedding venue they’ve ever been to. Thank you again and I wish you so much success in the future.

Where do we even begin? The professionalism of the entire team on the day was incredible and surpassed all expectations. The food was absolutely exquisite and so many of our guests have been complementing it to us. The ballroom looked absolutely beautiful and the bedrooms were so wonderful, comfortable and luxurious. The house is absolutely stunning and every single aspect of the day, evening and following morning was amazing. We had our wedding at Rockbeare Manor in September. It is a beautiful old house that is well looked after and maintained, not only is it lovely to look at from the outside, it is very well decorated and spacious on the inside. The water feature in the garden is great to have photos taken by and the scenic view of the country side surrounding the manor also makes a wonderful backdrop. We had planned to have the ceremony outside but the weather forecast was looking like rain, however the staff kept checking the forecast for us and in the end it was lovely sunny weather so we got to stay outside. The food we had chosen from their menu was delicious and we received many compliments from guests on the taste. They also catered really well to all the allergy and dietary requirements we had submitted to them. The staff at Rockbeare really made all our hopes for the day come true, they were all very polite and ready to help whenever we needed them. Sophie, the event organiser, made us feel completely at ease and the day went extremely smoothly thanks to her. It is obvious that the staff at Rockbeare really do care about their clients and I’m glad I chose it as my wedding venue, a perfect venue for a perfect day.

Dear all at Rockbeare, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in our special day. Our wedding was more than perfect, it was everything we had wished for and more! Your venue and team were out of this world… words can’t describe how helpful and amazing you all were. You all work so hard and deserve a lot of credit! The manor itself is like something out of a fairytale! Cameron – What can I say… You blew us away with your kindness, eagerness to make our day perfect and how much you cared for us. Nothing was a problem or too much trouble, you made us feel like we were the only two people in the world that mattered, we are really grateful you were involved in our day. You remained very calm considering how busy the bar was! A massive thank you to you! Davy was also a star and again nothing was a problem! He made us feel at ease and that everything was under control. Food – We had a lot of compliments from our guests saying how amazing the food was, and we totally agree! Everything was so tasty and freshly made. The canapés were insane! A lot of our guests have said its the best wedding they’ve ever been too – and this is all down to your amazing team!

My husband and I married at Rockbeare on the 11th August. Before I even set foot in the building I knew this magical place was going to be the backdrop for our perfect day and looking back now… it wasn’t just perfect, it was magical, breath taking and quite literally the best day of both of our lives! The team at Rockbeare Manor went above and beyond the call of duty. We were made to feel like we were the King and Queen of the manor! Nothing was too much and everything was tended to in such a way that the whole day ran so smoothly. Since our day I have spoken to most of the guests and everyone of them complemented the venue and the food and how perfect the day was! We can’t thank Rockbeare enough for letting us host our wedding and to anyone thinking of booking this place…DO IT NOW! You sure won’t regret it!

My daughter and Son in-law got married at Rockbeare Manor on Saturday 18th March, Every detail to their beautiful day was faultless, thanks to Andrew and Aimee and all their amazing staff, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were made to feel so comfortable. Everyone who attended the day, felt it was very relaxed and warming. We couldn’t praise the staff enough for all their kindness and helpfulness. The food was excellent, just couldn’t get enough of it, fantastic idea serving burgers in boxes, everyone loved them. The beautiful surroundings added to the beauty of it all. We really can’t thank you all enough. If you are planning a wedding at this fantastic venue, you certainly won’t be disappointed. Lastly every bedroom was wonderful each individual, comfy beds, beautiful bedding and breakfast is top quality. I wish Andrew and Aimee every success with this amazing business.
