Rivervale Barn can be found on the banks of the River Blackwater in Yateley, Hampshire. Built with weddings in mind, this barn venue exudes elegance and charm and makes the perfect location for your big day.
The barn is located in the northeast corner of Hampshire, bordering Berkshire and Surrey, and is only one hour from London.
Ceremony
At Rivervale Barn, your day flows effortlessly throughout the venue. Each room adjoins one another, making every part of your celebration accessible in one private location. This means there is no need for additional transport or inconvenience for you and your guests.
Once you’re ready, make your way to The Ceremony Barn. Filled with natural light through cathedral-style windows, look out onto the beautiful gardens as you exchange your vows. Traditional features such as oak panelling, exposed beams and the Minstrel’s Gallery provide a warm and romantic atmosphere for this special moment.
If the weather is on your side, The Spinney is an idyllic outdoor ceremony space only a few steps away from the barn but offers a sense of seclusion and intimacy. Accompanied by birdsong and surrounded by Rivervale’s beautiful gardens and atmospheric woodland, The Spinney is the most magical place to say ‘I do.’
Reception
The Reception Room is ideal for your celebrations after your ceremony. Enjoy a selection of canapés and a drink of your choice whilst experiencing the spectacular Mediterranean Courtyard. With guests sampling their delightful refreshments, explore the gorgeous gardens and capture those all-important photographs with stunning backdrops.
The Dining Room is truly impressive and guaranteed to wow your guests. Its high ceilings and round chandeliers, with your wedding theme and personal touches, make the room perfect for your evening celebrations. The only thing that could rival the setting is the amazing wedding breakfast served to you.
Accommodation
When the day draws to a close, you can retire to the Cornstore Cottage, Rivervale’s honeymoon suite. Its beautiful beams, inglenook fireplace, and relaxing garden views create a luxurious space to retreat to at the end of your perfect day. For your nearest and dearest, there’s Rivervale Lodge, their stunning guest accommodation (available for weddings from January 2025). Rivervale Lodge offers your closest friends and family the chance to stay onsite with you after the wedding with nine ensuite rooms, one family bedroom, and a breakfast room.
