The Setting
Ripley Court is a beautiful setting for your wedding ceremony and reception. The peaceful location is easy to find and has excellent transport links from London, Guildford and Woking. The wide-open lawns are perfect for a marquee or tipi, and guests can relax on the lawn and enjoy garden games in the peaceful surroundings.
Just off Rose Lane in the centre of historic Ripley sits the 17th-century grade two-listed schoolhouse, a stunning backdrop for your wedding day. You can find parking for your guests at the rear of the property.

You have a choice of two locations for your civil ceremony: The Theatre, an 18th-century converted stable, or The Headmaster’s Lawn, situated next to the stunning schoolhouse. With exclusive use and the ability to design your day how you want, Ripley Court offers so much versatility in a tranquil and stunning English country garden.
The Headmaster’s Lawn is perfect for your reception drinks or civil ceremony, while the main lawn has ample space for your marquee or tipi. The space is perfect for a relaxed BBQ, Hog Roast, or a more formal wedding day. The gardens offer many ideal spots for photos, and the white bridge is a sweet feature.

Lower House Farm is a regenerative farm and venue in the Olchon Valley, Herefordshire. Set amongst seventy acres of unspoilt landscapes, ancient woodlands, narrow streams, wildflower meadows and even their own waterfall!
On the farm, there are plenty of spaces inside and out for you to plan your day. At the heart of the farm stands their stone and oak-framed barn, a wonderful space for feasting and celebrating. Outside, you’ll find their covered yard, large open meadows with a 600-year-old oak tree (a favourite for ceremonies), communal patios, and orchards. If you need time for an intimate moment, escape into the wilderness for a while.

Lower House Farm believes in your vision. This family-run team offers a flexible approach, allowing you to personalise the venue and bring your dream wedding to life. With a dedicated wedding coordinator, they can provide as much or as little support as you desire, putting you in the driver’s seat of your wedding planning journey.
Exclusive to you, the beautifully restored 17th-century barn with vaulted ceilings, flagstone floors, and oak timber beams can accommodate to feast on long wooden tables with sheepskin-adorned benches. Once transformed for the evening, it can accommodate 120 guests for feasting and 150 guests to party the night away.
Your wedding feast will be cooked in the wood-fired outdoor kitchen using home-raised meat and in-house veg from the farm’s allotment. While your guests mingle, they can watch the kitchen magic happen and enjoy wafts of succulent joints of meat and charred seasonal veg being prepared.
Take a stroll to the secret waterfall, play lawn games in the huge field bordering the Olchon River, have photos with the dramatic mountain backdrop, and even toast marshmallows around the firepit come sunset-a wildly beautiful space to host a day to remember.

Seat up to 120 guests in the double Drawing Room for an extravagant wedding breakfast — or take it to a marquee in the gardens for an even larger formality. Up to 300 guests can enjoy the interior of Berwick House—host family and friends across Berwick’s 18 unique and magnificent bedrooms.
