The Setting
Set in one hundred and sixty acres of rolling grassland, lakes and marshes, this family farm is completely unique. Bursting with bright green botanicals in the summer and gorgeous earthy tones in the autumn the land makes for some incredible photography.
They are situated on the borders of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire in the heart of the rural East Midlands. Loughborough train station is only a 10 minute journey South, connecting the venue easily and directly to London in one hour.
The Vibe
Relaxed, rustic, elegance. This 160 acre estate is entirely yours to enjoy across a three day period.
The Grand Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies. Built as the farm’s winter machinery barn they have a large open area perfect for intimate ceremonies and an evening spent dancing the night away. The barn is a labyrinth of cosy corners and lounges for intimate chats and alternative dining options. The barn is tastefully decorated with period furniture and vintage lighting to create a timeless ambience.
Their south facing stone terrace follows the sun around The Grand Barn creating the perfect outdoor space for dancing, dining or sipping champagne. Their ornamental cast iron pergola at the rear allows the space to be covered for protection against the rain or sun allowing year round use of the outdoors and views of the estate. Draped in chandeliers, the ambient light means the terrace can be enjoyed into the evening.
They have five beautiful stables on the estate, adjacent to the Parlour and the Grand Barn. This rustic space is available for drinks receptions on the day of your wedding. The Stables also gives us the unique ability to cater for equestrian weddings. A private groom will be provided for the weekend to care for your horse or horses, meaning you can ride or simply spend moments with your horse on your special day. Expertise is borrowed from their neighbouring sister farm and equestrian centre, owned and run by the family for over seventeen years.
The estate benefits from two onsite properties. The farm’s former milking parlour has been transformed into some truly exceptional accommodation. Offering living and dining, three bedrooms and a preparation space with panoramic views across the lake. This stand alone property will become your home for the weekend as you enjoy the first moments of the rest of your lives together.
The Willow Marsh Farm Cottage will be available from 2022. This former estate workers cottage offers three double bedrooms with kitchen and ample dining space for your overnight guests as well as a snug with wood burning stove. Perched at the edge of the lake and only metres from the Parlour it is a perfect option for your wedding party, family or friends.

Built in 1894, the Engine House at Walthamstow Wetlands is a unique heritage destination recently redeveloped to combine its original architectural features with modern amenities. Situated on Europe’s largest urban wetlands reserve, the Engine House can host spectacular weddings with stunning views across the reservoirs of Walthamstow Wetlands and the London skyline.
Couples can enjoy a breath of fresh air in nature whilst only 15 minutes from central London with several transport links to their doorstep, such as Tottenham Hale Station.
Surrounded by wildflowers and reservoirs, this architectural gem is locally listed and bursting with industrial heritage character. The Engine House is the perfect location for wildlife lovers looking for an enchanting venue to say ‘I Do’.
The Vibe
Begin your wedding day in the light-filled Turbine Room, where they are fully licensed to host weddings and civil partnerships. The sunbathed room displays subtle hints of character with some original features and machinery still on display.
Once your ceremony has finished, head up to the Mezzanine to enjoy a glass of bubbles and some canapes. The balcony offers stunning and unobstructed views of their incredible nature reserve and the London skyline. This is also a great time to sneak off around the hidden paths of the nature reserve to capture your special moments as newlyweds.
Make a spectacular impact with dinner in the Triple Engine Room, framed by the heritage wooden panelling and coloured glazing. Indulge in delicious food from some of London’s best caterers on their approved supplier list. For larger numbers, guest seating can be extended onto the external terrace.
Once dinner service has finished, the Boiler Room is the perfect space to dance the night away with your nearest and dearest.

Come evening, the Coal House will be transformed into a vibrant and intimate party space where you can dance the night away with your nearest and dearest.

Situated within the estate, their woodland view ceremony room and function suite blurs the line between the ancient woodland, the historic grounds, and your special day. By utilising an abundance of glass and natural materials they provide the perfect bubble for your celebration with up to 150 guests by day, and 250 by night.
