The Setting
The Ostenwalde Manor dates back to the 13th century. The manor is still inhabited and run by the Freiherr von Vincke family, who have been in situ since it was founded.
More than 20 years ago the orangery was built within the yard and once served as winter protection for exotic plants on the estate. It has since been transformed into a beautiful space for weddings and private events. Through the large south-facing window, the orangery shines brightly in the sunshine highlighting the character and charm of the old quarry stone wall.
The unique Ostenwalde Orangery is surrounded by gardens and lush greenery, including a small fountain showcasing the venue’s historic elegance.
Renovated in 2020, the guest house was once the laundry of the manor. There are five guest bedrooms which are comfortable and individually furnished. The guest house benefits from stunning views over the manor and the orangery, complementing the idyllic landscape.
The estate is located outside of Melle, in Lower Saxony. There is a train station 7 km away with the connection to Osnabrück. The A30 motorway is also only 7 km away.
The Vibe
The Ostenwalde Orangery exudes a fairytale elegance. The large garden in front of the venue leaves plenty of room for creative visions – giving couples the flexibility and freedom to create the wedding of their dreams.
Wedding ceremonies can take place in front of the fountain, the giant oak tree, or the old hornbeam alley. Enjoy your drinks reception in the adjoining garden with picturesque views of the Manor House before up to 100 guests can be seated for dinner.
The Ostenwalde Orangery and additional premises are hire exclusively. There are no permanent partners, hence every wedding can be designed individually and personally. Only one wedding is held per weekend, so your big day can be enjoyed to the fullest!
