Their glorious Garden Room, which is exclusively yours on your wedding day, is complete with bi-folding doors that open out onto a beautiful sun-kissed walled courtyard, providing a light and airy space for you and your guests to enjoy. Decorated in tranquil blues, greens and greys, the Garden Room is a bright, elegant space overlooking the flawlessly-manicured garden. The use of this space is completely flexible and can be adapted to compliment your taste and décor or left simply as it is. The Garden Room can offer additional space with a marquee over the garden if needed.
Their team can take care of everything you need; from guest accommodation to a private drinks reception the night before your wedding, they pride themselves on their attention to detail and their ability to offer couples a day that is simply perfect.
The Setting
Tucked away in a leafy enclave just a short walk from the King’s Road, you’ll find this iconic Chelsea pub, The Phene. With a heritage stretching back to 1853, this imposing three-floor clubhouse-style venue is renowned in SW3 for its cosy bars, wonderful entertaining spaces and charming garden – a twinkling oasis of calm that is as welcoming in the winter as it is charming in the summer.
The Vibe
Over the years The Phene has evolved into a Chelsea institution and a unique venue in London, with a focus on providing quality food and drink in a relaxed and luxurious setting.
The Phene houses two drinks spaces, a restaurant, ground floor PDR ‘Chef’s Table’, their 1st-floor private lounge ‘The Oakley Room’ and top floor ‘Club Room’, allowing them to cater for events of many different sizes.
Their Oakley Room on the first floor can accommodate up to 36 guests seated for dinner and boasts a fully private bar, feature mirrored wall and sound system. Being just a 5-minute walk from Chelsea Old Town Hall this is the perfect intimate reception venue.
The Phene also has one of London’s finest beer gardens; their terrace is complete with comfortable sofas and chairs and is open all year round.
The team are here to support you with every decision before the big day. Their little black book is bursting with contacts, and they are more than happy to recommend cake makers, florists, photographers and the finishing touches like party favours or balloons. They manage the whole day, from setting up the room until after the guests go home.
They have no hire fee at the Phene, only a minimum spend requirement, meaning more of your budget can go towards the food and drink for your guests. Their menus are bursting with fresh and seasonal ingredients, with a range of catering options available, from a choice of set menus, to canapés or bowl food. In the run up to your wedding their events team and Head of Wine will be on hand to help you choose the perfect food and drink options for your special day.

By day, Arthur’s at Aragon House is a workspace providing a comfortable and creative environment. By night, Arthur’s transforms into a laid-back cocktail bar. Located in the basement, features include a private bar, direct access to their beautiful garden, sound system, television and lift access.

The Pembroke Rooms
The Pembroke room is a wonderfully intimate and elegant space, licensed for ceremonies and able to host all elements of your day. It offers an adjoining glasshouse bar that opens out to an enclosed courtyard and garden. Decorated in a charmingly striking midnight blue, this elegant room opens onto a beautiful private courtyard terrace and manicured garden, making it an enchanting space to elevate your wedding day.
The Scout Hut
Decorated in soft pastel greens and greys, The Scout Hut features a vaulted ceiling with white wooden beams and can be used as the perfect addition to the Pembroke Rooms. This space can be completely adapted to suit your needs, providing extra cover for those not-as-welcome wetter days or simply being an area for games, photo booths, or kids to play.
The Stables
Located at the far end of their walled garden, the Stables is a relaxed and rustic outdoor space with a roof cover, perfect for pre or post-wedding gatherings. The Stables come to life in the warmer months when the BBQ is popular among guests. The use of this space is flexible, and it can be decorated to compliment your taste or left simply as it is.
Rooms to stay
The Georgian Townhouse provides 24 boutique rooms and 11 apartments to suit various tastes, needs and budgets. Six of the rooms which are in closest proximity to the Pembroke Rooms are required to be taken by your wedding party should you hire this space. Located within the townhouse, they have 23 bedrooms and a deluxe suite. A stone’s throw across the road live their Georgian Apartments, consisting of eight comfy, three deluxe and one-family apartments.
All rooms and apartments have similar Georgian decor. In-room amenities include Roberts radios, Nespresso coffee machines, Smeg fridges, smart TVs, and fully stocked mini-bars, which include a handpicked selection of local drinks, snacks, and complimentary homemade cookies. They also have a handful of ground-floor, dog-friendly, disabled-accessible rooms, sofa beds, and cots to offer you and your guests.

Barrington Hall is a striking, white painted Victorian manor house oozing opulence and glamour with a timeless charm and relaxed vibe for guests. Private, exclusive and homely, guests have full use of the site which includes the manor’s glamorous suites, a grand, clear-sided marquee and extensive grounds.
The historic house is alluring and romantic thanks to lavish wallpaper, Italian marble floors, elegant draping and stunning chandeliers. It consists of interlinking suites, a large modern suite perfect for indoor ceremonies, bridal quarters for freshening up and a wow-factor entranceway for wet weather drinks leading out onto the grounds.
With a large, furnished terrace area available for both stunning ceremonies and socialising, guests can enjoy lazy summer evenings outside or cosy winter evenings snuggled up with blankets around the large fire pit, complete with fairy lights.
