Surrounded by mature trees, Burtonfields is the most stunning backdrop for weddings of up to 120. With a south-facing terrace, abundant manicured gardens and enviable lawns, the setting is simply perfect for a wedding!
The fantastic thing about Burtonfields’ proximity to York is the plethora of nearby accommodation and the connectivity of York. Many couples have guests from far and wide who enjoy spending the night either at Burtonfields or in York the night before the wedding.

One key thing to Burtonfields is that they want the house to feel like yours for your wedding weekend, and their focus is on providing a location where you can spend an extended period with your friends and family and hold a sumptuous wedding simultaneously!
They coordinate and staff the event on the wedding day, enabling you to focus entirely on enjoying your day. However, you have a couple of options the day before and the day after your wedding. You can have one of their recommended caterers wine and dine you the night before and provide a recovery brunch the following day, or, what many of their couples enjoy about Burtonfields, you can make yourselves at home and self-cater.

With its stunning facade and 14th-century features, which have earned its prestigious Grade II* listing from English Heritage, Ivy Lodge will make the most exquisite ceremony space.
