OH ME OH MY occupies West Africa House in Liverpool’s historic downtown, a short stroll from the River Mersey. Built in the 1920s by Briggs, Wolstenholme and Thorley, the building was once home to the prestigious Bank of West Africa. From its roof garden, Goodness Gracious, couples can take in one of the city’s finest views, with the Liver Building just a stone’s throw away. The interior blends period character with contemporary style, offering a versatile space that suits both intimate and larger gatherings.
The venue accommodates a mix of seating and standing for 250-300 guests, depending on the layout. Celebrations can range from informal buffet-style meals to formal, multi-course dining experiences. After dinner, the space transitions easily to dancing or late-night gatherings, offering a dynamic setting for a day that flows naturally from ceremony to evening.
While OH ME OH MY does not provide on-site accommodation, its city-centre location places couples and guests within walking distance of a wide range of hotels and short-stay options. This proximity makes celebrations feel lively and convenient, with minimal travel between the venue, lodging, and Liverpool’s attractions.
Menus are highly adaptable, reflecting couples’ preferences from casual sharing feasts to formal three-course dinners. Options include One Pot Buffet, Good Times Buffet, Two or Three Course Sit-Down, Sharing Supper/One Fine Feast, and Late Night Bites. The House Drinks Package includes an arrival drink, a toast drink, and half a bottle of wine per person for the table, ensuring a well-paced and thoughtful service.
The venue is committed to reducing environmental impact through mindful resource use, responsible waste practices, and collaboration with local suppliers. Celebrations here are designed to be thoughtful, with sustainability embedded in the operations without compromising style or experience.
Liverpool provides a vibrant, character-rich backdrop for weddings.
