About
Setting

Approached via a winding driveway, the 18th-century Georgian manor house reveals itself slowly, framed by 315 acres of rolling North Hampshire farmland. Original Victorian ceiling mouldings, parquet floors, and ornate fireplaces bring a sense of history to every room. A porte-cochère welcomes you into an interior that pairs its heritage details with contemporary, understated elegance. Every public space, bedroom and event room has been thoughtfully styled to complement this balance.

Ceremony

Oakley Hall offers seven distinctive ceremony spaces, each with its own character.

The Library

  • Romantic and intimate, with a Georgian fireplace, mahogany bookcases and chandeliers. Former guest Jane Austen’s novels line the shelves. (Licensed for 84 guests).

The Garden Suite

  • Elegant yet modern, with French doors opening to the Garden Terrace and views across the grounds. (Licensed for 160 guests).

The Steventon

  • Situated on the first floor with three large, south-facing windows that flood the room with natural light. (Licensed for 100 guests).

Woodland Pavilion

  • An outdoor space framed by oak beams and a peaceful water feature, surrounded by countryside. (Licensed for 160 guests).

The Garden Room

  • A refined, smaller version of the Garden Suite, created using an elegant partition. (Licensed for 84 guests).

The Winchester

  • Found on the other side of the Garden Suite, with all its charm in a more intimate setting. (Licensed for 80 guests).

Garden Pavilion

  • A spacious, modern setting for larger ceremonies, featuring fairy-lit ceilings and advanced sound.
Reception

Spaces for celebration are as considered as the ceremony options.

Garden Pavilion

  • Designed for large receptions, with its own bar, kitchen and terrace, alongside a high-end lighting and sound system. (Seats up to 350 guests).

Garden Suite

  • A graceful combination of Georgian structure and modern touches, with private terrace access. (Seats up to 120 guests).

Garden Room & Winchester

  • Ideal for smaller gatherings of up to 60, these interconnected rooms mirror the elegance of the Garden Suite in a more intimate layout. (Seats up to 60 guests).

The Library

  • A charming choice for intimate receptions, rich in atmosphere and literary romance. (Seats up to 40 guests).
Accommodation

Fifty bedrooms are available across the Manor House and Courtyard, offering choice and flexibility for you and your guests.

Deluxe Bedrooms

  • 37 in total, all with king-size beds, 40″ smart TVs, ensuite bathrooms, and tea and coffee facilities. Three are ground floor and accessible.

Executive Bedrooms

Food & Drink

The menus are designed to reflect your tastes. Options range from elegant canapés to formal multi-course meals, all of which are prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients. If you’re looking for something more relaxed, hog roasts or barbecues can be arranged on the Garden Terraces.

The team are open to ideas. Whether it’s a dish you love or a concept you’ve dreamt of, they’re ready to explore it with you.

Sustainability

Oakley Hall operates with a commitment to the natural world. The grounds are actively rewilded to support local wildlife, and several beehives are maintained on-site. Fruit, vegetables, and herbs are grown within the estate and supplemented by produce from trusted local farms, dairies and fishmongers.

Local Area

North Hampshire offers plenty to explore during your stay. The nearby town of Basingstoke, just ten minutes away, offers a range of restaurants and shops. Within a 30-mile radius, you’ll find Winchester, Southampton and Reading.

For quieter moments, the surrounding villages provide a more rustic Hampshire experience. The New Forest National Park is less than an hour’s drive away.
