Milling Barn

Milling Barn is an amazing venue with even more amazing people running the show.

I’ll start with the venue: it is beautiful, rustic, and fully shines by itself. We did very little in terms of decorating; the place does all the work for you! From the picturesque wooden beams to the existing lights and foliage, Milling Barn is a lovely backdrop ready to go. Just add some fresh flowers on the day, and you’ve got yourself an unforgettable venue.

The people working at Milling Barn are passionate and get things done. Our wedding manager, Martina, was the most helpful from day one, and on the day, she made sure everything was running perfectly so my husband and I could fully enjoy the day. Thanks to her work, There was no moment of worry, stress or panic. The servers and bartenders were also lovely, and the food was delicious.

Our suppliers (cake and DJ) arrived and set up without a hitch, the coach with our guests had no issues either, and overall, everything was made so easy for us; what more could we ask for?

Thanks to getting married at Milling Barn, we had an amazing and unforgettable day that was beyond a dream come true.

We want to say a huge thank you to The Milling Barn for hosting our wedding. What a simply stunning venue- we fell in love the moment we walked in. However, it was the first venue we saw, so we wondered if we would feel that way about everywhere and so went on several other viewings… it was quickly apparent how special The Milling Barn is as we didn’t feel that way about other places and quickly secured our spot for the 21st October.

We owe everything to our gorgeous wedding coordinator, Mimi. She is SUCH an asset to the team- professional, kind and patient; we could not be more grateful to her. She completely understood this was a whole new world to us and explained everything with compassion and understanding, never once making us feel like we were annoying or a burden (which I’m sure we were!!)

Mimi made the planning process an absolute pleasure; we never once felt stressed, which translated beautifully to the big day. She had everything under control, made us feel relaxed, and we had the best day of our lives thanks to her. Words cannot express our gratitude, and we have no idea how to repay her for everything- it could never be enough. It will be strange not catching up with her regularly; she feels like a friend to us now!!

The food was incredible- we had so many compliments about it all and will forever dream of that crème brûlée! We were worried that we weren’t offered a food tasting before the event, but it all went so well on the night, and we enjoyed it.

Thanks again to everyone involved- we and our guests had such an incredible time and nothing but compliments and gushing five-star reviews for our wedding day.

This venue is such value for money- I say for many reasons, but you can (if you choose) save SO much money on decor because the place is stunning before you put a single flower, candle or table runner down!!

Words cannot explain how thankful my partner and I are to Milling Barn. Our wedding day was exactly as we had imagined. The team was accommodating and attentive, the food was absolutely to die for, and the planning process was a breeze with their team.

We had our wedding on 3rd June, and it was honestly perfect; Lauren was so amazing from start to finish with us in planning and understanding our day. She made the day run smoothly and perfectly; I didn’t feel stressed once. Food was amazing, everyone loved it. Perfect.

We got married on the 5th of June this year, and this was the only wedding venue we went to look at, and we were sold immediately! You will instantly fall in love with this venue the second you go there and the fantastic staff who will support and help from start to finish. We were allocated Lauren as our wedding planner. I can’t even thank her enough for capturing every little detail I wanted, ensuring the day ran like clockwork, and always answering my endless questions. Also, every other member of staff, from the food/drinks and general running of day-to-day, went above and beyond! The rooms offered in the package are also well worth booking; they are lovely, modern, and spacious. This is a very accessibility-friendly place, which was also very important for us, and we had no issues. Photo opportunities at this venue are also endless. I will be forever grateful to all the staff at this venue for making our wedding day so amazing! Well done to all!

Our barn wedding at Milling Barn was a dream come true. The rustic charm of the barn, coupled with the stunning surroundings, created a magical backdrop for our special day. The staff were exceptional, especially Aimie, our wedding planner, ensuring every detail was perfect. The venue was beautifully maintained, with cosy lighting that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was the ideal venue for our wedding.

The venue and staff were amazing—the whole process, from booking to breakfast the morning after, was very relaxed and stress-free. Aimie guided us through the whole day (with the help of DJ Mike Readings, who I’d highly recommend); all the small things made the difference. It was 33° on the day; thankfully, the Aircon was brilliant. Everything went perfectly; I can’t thank the staff enough.

Milling Barn is a beautiful location for a wedding. The barn was beautifully set up, and our guests loved not having to move to another location. Lorca is an incredible event planner and ensured that our day ran smoothly without any problems. We had to order extra food, which was not a problem. The staff at the venue were fantastic. The food and drinks were incredible, and the canapés went down a treat and were loved by all our guests! The changeover from dinner to the party was seamless as well. We would highly recommend this venue for your wedding. The accommodation was incredible, and we stayed for breakfast the next day with all our bridal party and parents. The rooms were clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable.
