About

The Setting

This unique family owned Somerset wedding venue lies in the heart of the countryside. A romantic Elizabethan Manor House surrounded by beautiful gardens and weathered stone walls, it has been in the same family for 500 years.

They will work with you on every aspect, to help you create your dream wedding in this very special place. Their flexible and friendly approach means that your day will be exactly as you wish.

Only an hour south of Bristol and two hours from London, Midelney Manor is located between Taunton and Yeovil in the ancient landscape of the Somerset Levels.

The Vibe

Choose from the wonderful spaces on offer to make your day uniquely yours; from champagne among the roses in the Walled Garden, an intimate lunch in the Potting Shed or a grand Marquee or Tipi in the Round Garden.

The ancient walled gardens and the backdrop of the house lend themselves to a traditional English country wedding whereas the Potting Shed can create a more rustic and bohemian feel.

The Potting Shed lies in the centre of the gardens and can be used for larger ceremonies or as a bar lounge and is a really versatile and quirky space.

Small ceremonies can take place within the main house or if you a prefer, a blessing in Washams Wood at the end of the garden!
