Mas Torroella

From the moment I enquired 12 months earlier, to the most helpful advice and service received up to and including our stay – my family of 18 had a most wonderful experience. Mas Torroella is a truly magnificent property. We were 11 adults and 7 children from the UK and Australia. We partied. We self catered. We had an onsite chef catering for a celebration dinner, just amazing. We played games, treasure hunts, egg races and we also found time to visit the local beaches. The onsite staff were so lovely and the weather was superb. The owner, Silvia, is very helpful and a wonderful person too.

“Private paradise” – We knew from the moment we arrived at Mas Torroella that we had found something very special. The grounds and views are breathtaking, and kept so beautiful by the daily gardeners. Each room is spectacular, comfortable and spacious. Our guests were blown away. Our wedding day at Mas Torroella was unforgettable, Silvia was always on hand to make sure we had everything we needed and she made us feel so welcome. The amenities throughout the property are excellent, the spa, the communal living spaces, the outdoor pool, the tennis court, the fully equipped kitchen…we couldn’t ask for any more. We were so sad to leave Mas Torroella, our little slice of heaven. Tucked away in the mountains, peaceful, tranquil, relaxing, beautiful. We will definitely be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Staying at Mas Torroella is an experience we will never forget! The villa itself, shrouded in history, was restored by the owner’s father to an exceptionally high standard. Each of the 8 bedrooms is furnished beautifully by Silvia (owner) and each with its own unique touch. You really must see it to believe it. The indoor spa pool with sauna and gym was my personal favourite and with a maid and housekeeper on duty, every day ensuring the villa was clean and functional at all times. The Annexe offered further living space with another 2 bedrooms, kitchen area, and sitting room. The surrounding areas were excellent for eating out and entertainment of all sorts (even Karaoke) was available. The owner Silvia, along with her husband, is very ‘hands-on’ at all times nothing was too much trouble ensuring our time at the villa was the best it could be. A perfect venue for a wedding… who knows we may get to return one day!

We recently spent a week in Mas Torroella where we celebrated our wedding with all of our friends and family. It was the best week of our lives, and our guests are still reminiscing! When you plan a wedding abroad you worry if everything will be OK, but our wedding could not have been more perfect. The special thing about Mas Torroella is that the inside areas are just as spectacular as the outdoor spaces and everything has been restored with such love and attention to detail, this place really is one of a kind! We made a reservation before we flew out to visit Mas Torroella, and we were blown away when we first saw it. One year on when we flew back for our wedding, and the whole place was just as breathtaking. It is very rare to find somewhere so beautiful, that is also so unique and full of character. The place is a real testament to Silvia the owner; you can feel how much hard work, passion and vision she has brought to the villa. She has been a delight to liaise with throughout the whole process, always happy to help and bringing a smile to our faces with wonderfully friendly emails. If you are hesitant about booking Mas Torroella for whatever reason, we can honestly say it will be the best decision you ever make, and when it’s time to leave you’ll already be plotting the next excuse to return! Whatever the occasion, Mas Torroella will feel both luxurious and extravagant, and homely cosy, and will remain in your minds and hearts forever, as it most certainly will for us. Thank you for the best week of our lives.

I have run out of superlatives to describe this place when asked! My wife and I first visited this place in 2017 when we were looking all over the globe for unique places to get married at. We walked in and within 10 minutes of being shown around by Silvia we turned to Silvia and said we didn’t need to see anymore and that this was 1000% for us and booked immediately! Everything from the rooms, to the indoor spa and outdoor pool is just on another level completely! Silvia was on hand all week during our wedding celebrations and is one of the most friendly, caring people we have ever met. All of the staff were great! Especially Trevor who never seems to stop all day long! Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back one day!

How do you review this place, when even after a week I still can’t accept just how amazing it was. From start to finish the best holiday ever and a great wedding for my friends. The three of us had an amazing time and hopefully one day we can go back… Until next time Mas Torroella.
