Leeds Castle is the perfect venue for your dream wedding in Kent. Set within acres of stunning Kentish countryside, the Castle offers an enchanting backdrop for your special day. Rising gracefully from its moat, the historic Castle is surrounded by 500 acres of lush parkland and meticulously maintained gardens, creating a romantic atmosphere that is both breathtaking and timeless.
A range of ceremony spaces is available, from grand indoor rooms to scenic outdoor locations. The Castle features a refined Ceremony Room adorned with soft pastel hues, large French windows, and views of the moat and parkland. It can accommodate up to 100 guests. Couples can also opt for the Grand Salon or the Castle Celebrations Room.
The Maiden’s Tower offers a private 16th-century setting with two elegant wedding rooms and an enclosed walled garden for a more intimate atmosphere. This space is ideal for outdoor ceremonies or pre-reception drinks and can accommodate up to 80 guests.
For smaller celebrations, Battel Hall, a 14th-century manor house set within ancient woodland, offers a charmingly secluded option for up to 30 guests.
Outdoor ceremonies can take place on Castle Island, Pavilion Lawn, or Cedar Lawn. Castle Island presents the Castle as a dramatic backdrop, while the Pavilion Lawn overlooks parkland. Cedar Lawn, surrounded by greenery, is ideal for larger ceremonies. Outdoor events can host up to 100 guests, with a capacity for up to 500 for larger cultural or bespoke celebrations.
Wedding receptions at Leeds Castle are as versatile as they are memorable. The Grand Salon, which can accommodate up to 120 guests for an elegant evening reception, features a French Caen stone fireplace, ebony flooring, and views of the moat and parkland.
The Maiden’s Tower provides a more intimate setting for up to 100 guests, with exclusive use of the tower until midnight, creating a private, memorable evening celebration.
Battel Hall offers a charming reception space for up to 30 guests for smaller gatherings, ideal for an intimate celebration.
Larger receptions can be hosted at Fairfax Barn, a 17th-century timber-framed barn with rustic charm. This space, which can accommodate up to 200 guests, is perfect for guests transitioning from a ceremony at the Castle or Maiden’s Tower.
For outdoor receptions, couples can choose the Pavilion Lawn or Cedar Lawn, with the option of marquee spaces accommodating up to 500 guests. Both offer picturesque settings with ample flexibility for personalisation.
The Castle offers several options for accommodation. Twenty bedrooms are available within the Castle, including eight luxurious State Rooms furnished with period antiques, marble en-suites, and views of the moat and parkland. Guests may even stay in a traditional four-poster bed.
The Maiden’s Tower features five individually designed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and scenic views of the Castle estate, blending period charm with modern comfort.
The Stable Courtyard offers 17 individually designed en-suite rooms within the Castle gardens, just a short walk from the Castle Island.
The estate’s Cottages offer scenic woodland views and relaxed accommodation for those seeking a home-away-from-home experience. Battel Hall includes five bedrooms and two additional rooms at Battel Oast for a more exclusive retreat.

We work with three nominated Florists; Louise Roots, Floral Explosions and Chic Weddings. Only these suppliers can provide fresh flowers and real candles in the venue. You are welcome to source your personal flowers (bouquets and buttonholes) externally.
Due to the nature of the building and the large number of wildlife within the grounds, we cannot permit confetti of any kind. However, you are welcome to have blowing bubbles as an alternative (outdoor use only).
We require you to use one of our nominated caterers, florist, fireworks provider and drone videographer. You can use suppliers not on this list for any other service. Please check with your Wedding Coordinator before booking any services to ensure it is permitted.
Our teams will set up the tables and chairs for your wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast. They will also assist with placing your name cards, menu cards, table favours and table plan for the wedding breakfast. We would ask you to nominate a member of your wedding party to place any additional items you provide. Due to time restrictions, this can only commence one and a half hours prior to your ceremony. We require a full list of the items in advance of your day.
We ask that you discuss this with our nominated Caterers. If they are unable to offer corkage, they may still be able to source the product for you.
Not at all! Once you have checked out of your bedrooms, you are able to store your luggage in your cars and then make the most of the beautiful Leeds Castle estate . No better excuse for a wander round than to clear your head the morning after and reminisce on the excitement of the day before!
Helium balloons, ice sculptures, silly string, dry ice/smoke machines or foam are not permitted
