Kachette

We met in London and have lived our entire relationship here so we always knew there was no where else that would feel right when we got married. We were recommended Kachette by a close friend. It ticked all the boxes. Located in an old Underground station, it had two amazing exposed brick arches, was right in the middle of Shoreditch, close to the Town Hall and had bags of character. The venue had two separate rooms, we could have the wedding breakfast in one Arch and the party in the other without people having to hang around during set-up. We were also able to extend the license until 2am so we didn’t have to stop the party early which was also big thing for us.

We had our wedding at Kachette and everyone loved it. We felt it really matched our idea for something different, quirky and relaxed. The staff were brilliant and we would definitely recommend it as a wedding venue!

Kachette was a perfect venue for our wedding, right in the heart of Shoreditch. The team there were super organised and really helpful, making sure the day went without a single problem. Spread across two arches, with excellent facilities, it’s a bank canvas that you can customise to 100% match your needs. The excellent sound system really let the band show off to their best! For an industrial urban feel, with all the comforts you need, it can’t be beaten.

We wanted to find a venue that suited us both, where we could hold both the ceremony and reception. A fairytale wedding filled us both with dread. What we wanted was a blank canvas to make our own and found this in Kachette, an incredible studio space in Shoreditch. The venue is the former ticket hall of Shoreditch Underground Station. An industrial, gallery-like space, it had an incredible simplicity and modernist aesthetic that was just irresistible.
