Iscoyd Park is a romantic and beautiful Georgian country house. It stands in private 18th-century Parkland and stunning gardens overlooking the borders of North Wales, Shropshire, and Cheshire.
Iscoyd Park has the capacity to host weddings for over 160 people and has recently been restored and redesigned to award-winning acclaim while still retaining the character, history, and warmth of a family home. This warmth contributes to a magical atmosphere that puts everyone at ease, blending traditional, classical, and historical elements with contemporary and innovative touches. At Iscoyd, every event is entirely bespoke, tailored to the couple’s unique preferences. The Bridal Suite offers a romantic setting with large windows overlooking parkland, sumptuous fabrics, and a stunning four-poster bed.
Iscoyd Park offers a variety of options for your wedding ceremony. The house has three licensed rooms, providing versatile spaces to suit different preferences. There is also a wonderful space outside for those who prefer an outdoor ceremony. Additionally, a beautiful church is located on the edge of the estate, just a 5-minute drive from the house, offering another option for couples wishing to marry in a religious setting.
For the wedding reception, Iscoyd Park presents several distinct settings within the house:
The Garden Room, filled with natural light and offering stunning views of the garden, provides a serene atmosphere. Attached to the Garden Room is a beautiful marquee, ideal for hosting a seated wedding breakfast for up to 160 guests.
The Drawing Room offers a cosy ambience for smaller gatherings with its wooden floors, 18th and 19th-century paintings, and the warmth of fires and candles in the winter.
The Coach House, with its exposed beams and whitewashed brick, creates a relaxed setting for ceremonies of up to 150 and wedding breakfasts of up to 60.
Iscoyd Park provides luxurious accommodation options, including 18 beautifully appointed bedrooms on-site. Additionally, a cottage located on the edge of the estate offers further lodging, accommodating up to 10 guests in 5 double bedrooms. The venue hire also includes Iscoyd Cottage, specially created for the wedding party to stay the night before the wedding.
We got married here on Thursday and I have been trying to find the words to sum up how amazing it was. Everyone commented on the venue and how amazing it looked. Selina did an incredible job with the flowers and made the venue looked stunning. The food was one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had. The wait staff and bar staff were all so polite and helpful. Barry was a gem! And Charlie is the woman you want by your side when planning a wedding. From steaming all our dresses to answering my emails when sent at random times (the joys of planning a wedding in Sydney for Wales!) she is incredible. Everyone made us feel like Iscoyd was our home and it always will feel that way to us. Such a special place and team of people who helped make our wedding the best day of our lives.
We got married at Iscoyd Park on 15th Feb 2020, in what was the best day of our lives! The venue is absolutely perfect in every way and it really doesn’t matter what the weather is like outside, our wedding unfortunately happened during Storm Dennis but you never would’ve known. All photos were taken inside but due to how magnificent the house is, the pictures are stunning! The team at Iscoyd Park are fantastic and made our day stress free and ensured everything ran smoothly without us having to worry. Ffion really is a brilliant asset of your team and from the very beginning made our lives so much easier. However, that goes to all of the team at Iscoyd, the master of ceremonies Barry was brilliant and checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed! Also, the food is incredible and every single guest we had commented on how wonderful the food was! Especially the sticky toffee pudding, could literally eat that every day. We really couldn’t recommend Iscoyd Park highly enough and we can’t wait to come back in the future to one of your events! Thank you for making our big day the best day of our lives!
We got married at Iscoyd Park in November and it was everything we had hoped for and more. The house is absolutely stunning, the gardens and bedrooms are beautiful, but the really special thing about Iscoyd is the amazing team of people that run it. We were lucky enough to have help from Charlie and Ffi in planning but it was Ffi who was with us on our wedding weekend and she was just amazing. All our friends and family adored her, she has such a lovely spirit, nothing was too much trouble and we had so much fun with her. From the moment we visited for the first time and were shown round by Charlie to the day we were waved off by Ffi after our wedding we were completely overwhelmed by how warm and welcoming we were made to feel by the entire team at Iscoyd. They helped us through every part of planning the wedding and made everything feel so easy and laid back. Every time we went to visit it was like seeing old friends. Susie and Phil have not only made their home a wonderful place to spend a special day and party but they have created a team that are like a family and make you feel very special. We can not recommend them highly enough. Thank you to you all.
I just wanted to share how incredibly helpful the entire team at Iscoyd Park have been so far. Charlotte, our Wedding Co-ordinator has been a delight and has kept us updated and informed from the very start. She has been especially helpful during this deeply uncertain time and given how hard the team at Iscoyd will no doubt be working at present whilst they try and re-position weddings over the coming months they are always on hand to answer any questions. The venue itself is incredible and no picture will ever do the sense of atmosphere and history that exists there justice. We feel so happy and confident with every aspect of the venue that we know that even though we are not currently affected by the COVID-19 crisis, that should anything continue to roll forward we have no doubts the team will help resolve it in the most impressive manner.
From the moment we stepped through the door and smelt those beautiful Neom candles, we fell in love with Iscoyd. Now, three weeks on from the wedding of our dreams, we wish we could do it all again. The team there are absolutely amazing – Charlie, our wedding coordinator, felt like she’d been my friend for years. She’s not only incredibly organised, she’s also warm and kind and goes above and beyond to make sure that everything goes to plan – including putting pizza in my bedroom at night because I’d been too excited to eat all day! Tim was also so attentive on the day and was wonderful too, even saving the first champagne cork that was popped for us. Thoughtful touches like this are a common thing for everyone who works at Iscoyd. If you’re thinking of getting married here you will not regret it. We have memories to last a lifetime and all our guests were blown away by the beautiful home, the staff that work there and I have to mention, the delicious food. Thank you for making the wedding of our dreams a reality.
