Located in a naturally secluded Cotswold valley in north Oxfordshire, Hadsham Farm provides a stunning permanent Tipi Wedding Venue suitable for 80-130 seated guests between April and October.
Banbury is the nearest town, and it’s only 6 miles by taxi to the mainline train station, with the quickest trip to London Marylebone being only 1 hour.
The venue is not licensed, but it has beautiful outdoor options on the lakeside and a decking area for a celebrant ceremony or blessing.
The wedding reception is usually held inside the main Tipi with a seated capacity of 80 – 130 guests.
There’s a complimentary en-suite Shepherd’s Hut for the happy couple to use. Then, they have 12 luxury bell tents on the lakeside, each with a king-sized bed and all bedding. Guests can book and pay for these through their website. Anyone who wishes to bring their own tent can do so free of charge.
There are no set suppliers at Hadsham, so you are free to choose any suppliers you wish, and they won’t charge you any corkage. They do have a recommended list if you need guidance.
The venue is ‘off-grid,’ with a power system powered by solar panels, lithium batteries, and a generator. Water comes from a spring on the farm. By their very nature, the Tipis create a light footprint on the land. How sustainable the actual event is depends a lot on how couples decide to decorate and which suppliers they use.
We will never be able to thank Charlie and Fiona enough for opening their beautiful venue to us. It is the most perfect setting, every one of our guests commented on how amazing it was. Nothing was ever too much for Charlie, and he was there to help for everything and anything we needed. Our wedding was beyond perfect, and we will forever be grateful to you both. Thank you.
We had our wedding at Hadsham Farm last July (2019) and cannot recommend it highly enough as a blow-your-socks-off wedding venue. Charlie and his family/team are so very helpful, make your life incredibly easy (which is tricky with pulling off a big DIY affair) and it feels like every question you have has already been considered by them. The tipis are beautiful and the whole setting is magical. Overall it is amazing value for such an epic venue. You won’t be disappointed!
We had our wedding at Hadsham Farm on the 1st of June this year. It was the most incredible weekend ever – all due to this amazing venue. People are still talking about the setting and the tipis now. Being able to camp and set up the full day before really turned it from a one day celebration to a whole weekend. Charlie and his family couldn’t have been more helpful, the passion and hard work they put into their wedding venue is so clear to see. Thank you so much!
Absolutely perfect venue for our wedding. Charlie was always so helpful and everyone commented on what a very special place this is. We had bad weather for half of the day and it still didn’t stop it from being an amazing day. In fact, it just meant we had more people on the dance floor. It was so special to be able to stay over and spend the following morning at Hadsham – I’m absolutely positive we couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our wedding.
We have just celebrated our wedding at hadsham last week, where to start… the most amazing venue, we had searched around for the perfect tipi and Hadsham just blew us away! The tipi, the chill out area, the surroundings, the option to camp, the props/little touches and that VIEW you really can’t get any better, our guests and suppliers were in awe. We had the best day and that’s thanks to our amazing venue, the venue is breathtaking as it is but having the ability to put your stamp on it made it really special to us! Charlie and Fiona were so lovely to deal with, so down to earth and passionate about what they do, it made the experience so enjoyable. Charlie is an absolute pro and makes it so easy, not having to think about toilet hire, power and logistics was a blessing. The little touches like the flower hoops, circle arch and lights help you create something magical and with Charlie continuing to make additions and changes we wish we could get married every year! We loved being able to set up the day before and clear down as well as feed our campers the day after, it felt like a home-from-home for the whole weekend and you are left to enjoy it all in privacy! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts we will cherish the memories forever and have loved hearing our guests tell us it was the best wedding and venue they’ve ever been to! THANK YOU!!!
Yes, midnight for amplified music, but we have a PA speaker that can be used at a lower level after that.
Yes, absolutely - we have plenty of recommendations, but ultimately, it's totally your choice.
Yes, you can. And we won't charge you for it either! We're a no-corkage venue.
Yes, you can. Our hire period is three days - a day on either side of the main event for setting up and tidying away.
Of course. The tipis are up between April and October, and we live on-site, so we are around most of the time to conduct viewings. In the winter, there's still plenty to see on-site, as much of our infrastructure is permanent.

We are very happy for you to bring your dog for the day, but unfortunately, they can't sleep in any of our accommodations. Pets of other family and friends are not allowed, sorry.
