Great Fosters

Great Fosters sits across 50 acres of gardens and parkland just outside London, offering a historic and romantic backdrop for weddings. The estate blends majestic country house charm with versatile spaces for ceremonies and celebrations, suitable for weddings of all sizes. A dedicated weddings team manages every detail, while bespoke packages and flexible pricing allow couples to plan a day that reflects their vision, whether a sunlit summer wedding or an intimate winter gathering by the fires.

Couples may exchange vows in the Orangery, a light-filled and elegant space, or outdoors on the Archery Lawn. Both locations are licensed for up to 160 guests and reflect the timeless charm of the historic estate.

Drinks receptions can take place on the Magnolia Lawn in warmer months or in the Painted Hall Bar and Tithe Barn Terrace, each accommodating up to 160 guests. The Tithe Barn provides seating for 160 guests during the wedding breakfast, while combining the Tithe Barn, Orangery, and Painted Hall Bar allows for evening celebrations for up to 250 guests.

The venue offers 56 individually styled suites and bedrooms. The main house, dating back to 1550, features historic suites ideal for a romantic stay, while The Cloisters and The Coach House offer a range of additional rooms and suites. Some feature four-poster beds, and others display historic trinkets collected over time.

Guests staying overnight have access to the heated outdoor pool and hot tub, available from May to September between 8am and 8pm.

The kitchen team works closely with each couple to create personalised menus that reflect their individual tastes. Options include three-course dinners, canapés, or relaxed BBQs, all delivered with the same level of quality and attention to detail.

By Road:

• From the M25: leave at Junction 13, follow A30 to Egham, continue via The Avenue, Vicarage Road, New Wickham Lane, and Stroude Road; Great Fosters is approximately 500m on the left.
• From A30 (towards Staines): turn right at Christchurch Road, continue past shops, left at train station traffic lights onto Stroude Road; venue is ¾ mile on the right.
• Tesla and Universal car charging points are available free for hotel guests.

By Rail:

• Nearest station: Egham, 40 minutes from London Waterloo. Taxi to the hotel takes under 5 minutes.

By Air:

• 15-minute drive from Heathrow Airport.
• Helicopter access available; the hotel has its own landing site.
