Goodnestone Park is a quintessential English Grade II-listed country house in rural Kent, available for exclusive use across a full wedding weekend.
Exchange your vows beneath the open sky in the gardens, in the quiet elegance of the Coach House, or a few minutes’ walk away at the historic Church of the Holy Cross, its spire visible through the trees.
Drinks move across three separate spaces as the evening builds, before the doors of the Orangery Marquee open, a custom-built, timber-framed pavilion by Bohemia Canvas, seating 120 beneath festoon lighting, its windows framing the Kent countryside as the light fades and the dancing begins.
Twelve bedrooms, three floors, room for 24, space enough for both sides of the wedding party to prepare in their own corner of the house without a single crossed path. The bridal suite, among the finest in Kent, is where the morning of the wedding truly begins. The dining room hosts a rehearsal dinner for 24 the night before; the garden table, seating the same, is where a relaxed BBQ unfolds beneath an open sky.
With no corkage fee and a choice of four preferred caterers, couples can create a menu built entirely around them.

Goodnestone sits in the heart of the Kent countryside, with the cathedral city of Canterbury just twenty minutes away and the white cliffs of Dover under half an hour down the road, easy additions for guests staying on to make a weekend of it. Local orchards, vineyards and villages surround the estate, giving out-of-town guests a proper taste of rural Kent beyond the wedding itself.
Despite its wonderfully secluded setting, the estate is easily accessible, under an hour from London by train via Canterbury and about 90 minutes by car. Dover is less than a 30-minute drive away, making it convenient for international guests arriving by ferry or Eurotunnel.
