Goodnestone Park

We have been preparing our venue for the return of events and have carried out a full risk assessment. We are delighted to announce that we are now able to host private, socially-distanced venue show rounds and micro weddings in a safe environment and in line with current Covid secure government guidelines.

The Setting

Goodnestone is a quintessential English country house available for exclusive use.

Set in the heart of the Kent countryside, Goodnestone is under an hour by train from London (or 90 minutes by car); and under 30 minutes’ drive from Dover.

The Vibe

For the ultimate in fairy-tale romance, follow in the footsteps of Jane Austen’s brother and tie the knot at Goodnestone Park. Whether in the church, garden or house, it’s a truly special place for the most important day of your life.

From a traditional church ceremony in the village church, to a civil ceremony on the estate, there are a number of possibilities to consider when planning your wedding at Goodnestone Park.

For your celebration, there are also various possibilities, with the grounds surrounding the house offering plenty of space for marquees. Alternatively, the Old Dairy and Courtyard offer a great indoor space for wedding receptions.

Goodnestone Park is fully licensed to host wedding parties of up to 150.
