Nestled in the Small Hamlet of Glandyfi, this Grade II-listed Castle is an intimate venue. Inconspicuously tucked away behind “The Great Wall of Glandyfi”, Glandyfi Castle stands in 40 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland. To the front of the Castle lies an estuary frontage and sea view, looking out to the small harbour resort of Aberdyfi. Ynys-hir RSPB Nature Reserve is two miles away, a testament to the wildlife surrounding this historic castle in Wales.
Say your vows in one of the castle’s stunning indoor or outdoor ceremony spaces, all offering sweeping views of the Dyfi estuary and the rolling Welsh countryside. The gardens have been beautifully landscaped, featuring an elegant fountain and a tranquil woodland walk. Ceremony spaces include a stunning indoor Atrium, or an outdoor pergola overlooking the Dyfi gardens.
All packages include exclusive hire of the venue hosting weddings for up to 50 daytime guests within the Castle. Larger weddings can be catered for with additional marquee hire.
Glandyfi Castle offers exclusive overnight accommodation for 22 guests across 11 bedrooms. Nine rooms feature private bathrooms, while two share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, ideal for families. Each room features modern comforts, including a dressing table, wardrobe, hair dryer, Smart TV, and a fully stocked bathroom with amenities.
Highlights include the Dyfi Honeymoon Suite, featuring a super king bed, estuary views, and a private bathroom with a shower and bath. The Cwrt room is available on the ground floor and can be accessed via a ramp.
Glandyfi Castle operates as an exclusive-use venue with no supplier restrictions on food or drink. You will have access to the castle’s Little White Wedding Book of Suppliers, but the choice of who you book for your wedding is entirely yours. Glandyfi Castle understands a wedding is personal, so you can organise your desired culinary and entertainment experience. A welcome hamper of Welsh treats and prosecco is included in all wedding bookings, but Glandyfi Castle provides no other food or drink.
