The venue is around a 55-minute drive from Amsterdam, making it easy for guests travelling from both within the Netherlands and abroad.
The venue offers several ceremony locations, allowing couples to choose the setting that best suits their wedding. Ceremonies can take place outdoors overlooking the river, inside the historic tower for a more intimate atmosphere, or beneath the covered pavilion. The different spaces make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor celebrations.
Fortress Vuren is available for exclusive hire, allowing couples to enjoy the entire island throughout their stay. Receptions can be held in different areas of the venue, including outdoor spaces with river views and the historic buildings. The venue can host weddings with up to 150 guests, providing plenty of flexibility for both dining and evening celebrations.
The venue offers on-site accommodation for up to 60 guests, allowing close family and friends to stay together on the private island. Weddings include exclusive use of the venue for three days, allowing couples to enjoy the celebrations over an extended stay.
Fortress Vuren offers in-house catering and also works with recommended external caterers. Couples have the flexibility to choose the catering option that best suits their wedding while making the most of the venue’s indoor and outdoor dining spaces.
