Indoors, the pillared Ceremony Room offers a classical setting with chandeliers and refined architectural detail, while the panelled Drawing Room provides a lighter atmosphere, opening directly onto the Fountain Gardens and filling with natural light. These spaces can accommodate up to 90 guests each or up to 200 guests when the adjoining rooms are combined.

For outdoor ceremonies, the manicured lawns offer space for both intimate gatherings and large-scale celebrations, including marquee ceremonies for up to 500 guests. Saying vows beside the central fountain creates a striking focal point and allows the day to unfold naturally into drinks and receptions across the grounds.

For church ceremonies, St Cuthbert’s Church sits at the entrance to the estate, offering a traditional option just moments from the Hall.

Forcett Hall offers a range of elegant reception spaces that adapt easily to the scale and style of each celebration. Within the house, the principal reception rooms can host dining and dancing for up to 90 guests in a single space, or up to 200 guests across adjoining rooms. Layouts are flexible and work equally well for round tables, long banquets, and cultural dining styles.

One of the hallmarks of receptions here is flow. Thanks to the scale of the house, no room turnaround is required. Dining, dancing, and evening celebrations can be prepared in advance, allowing guests to move smoothly through the day without interruption.

For larger weddings, marquee receptions can be hosted on the grounds for up to 500 guests. With no late curfew, celebrations can continue into the night, whether inside the Hall or beneath canvas, creating space for weddings that feel expansive, expressive, and entirely personal.

On-site accommodation at Forcett Hall allows celebrations to extend well beyond the wedding day itself. Within the Hall are 18 individually styled, en-suite bedrooms, accommodating up to 54 guests. Rooms range from generous doubles to family-sized spaces, each designed to balance comfort with the character of the house and views across the estate.

The Honeymoon Suite is designed as a private retreat for the wedding couple. With a four-poster super king bed, freestanding bath, double shower, and private champagne bar, it offers space to slow down and enjoy the experience. An adjoining dressing room provides a dedicated area for getting ready, with room for the wedding party to prepare together.

Additional accommodation is available within the estate’s cottages and gatehouses, offering further flexibility for multi-day weddings and larger guest lists, while keeping everyone close to the heart of the celebrations.

Food and drink at Forcett Hall are designed to reflect the tone and traditions of each wedding. Menus can range from refined, restaurant-led dining to generous sharing feasts, allowing couples to create an experience that suits both the occasion and their guests.

Complimentary corkage is available for wine and champagne throughout the celebration, allowing couples to bring their own bottles. For cocktails and spirits, an external bar supplier can be appointed, making it easy to introduce bespoke menus or cultural drinks.

The Hall’s preferred catering partner, Yorkshire Party Company, is known for delivering high-quality dining across a wide range of styles and guest numbers. Alternative caterers may also be considered by request, ensuring flexibility for specialist cuisine, cultural menus, and extended celebrations.
