The Fforest grounds are insanely stunning, immaculately kept and full of character. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the staff were on hand from the very start of the planning process to ensure that our vision was not only achieved, but passed all of our wildest expectations. Thank you all for making our wedding weekend the most magical and wonderful of our lives.

Married July 2023

The weekend honestly surpassed all our expectations. We’ve been gushing about every aspect of the entire experience since last Sunday, as have our guests! They’ve raved about the location, the staff (so warm and friendly), the food (oh, the food!), the lodgings (comfiest beds ever!), and I don’t think anyone had a single negative thing to say about the entire stay. You made everything seem so relaxed and effortless, and that really translated into a very happy wedding party!

I’m not sure where to start with the thanks – we literally had the BEST weekend… My Mum said it was the best time of her life. One guest said that she left the world at the gate and felt cocooned in a magical and welcoming hub of beautifulness for the weekend. The guests loved it, the family loved it and the dogs loved it! The food! Your staff are incredible and we can’t thank you enough for allowing us to do all the little extras we wanted so that we had the dream wedding.

The best decision we made when planning our wedding was to have it at fforest (which was actually a decision we had made at a winter fforest feast about two years before we got engaged)! From start to finish of the planning process, the fforest team were amazing and worked with us to create an event that was entirely unique to us. Fforest is an amazing place, and having it to ourselves with your friends and family for a whole weekend was so special. From seeing all of our friends and family sat around the open fires with welcome pizza and beers to wedding morning river swims in the Teifi to having our ceremony in the magical quarry to having a bespoke wedding menu cooked on outdoor barbecues to dancing the night away in the tipi (followed by dancing on tables in the tiny stone pub) the whole weekend is something we will never forget. Every single member of the fforest team went above and beyond to create our dream wedding and to make our friends and family feel at home for that weekend.

Married September 2023

We just got married at Fforest Farm and it will go down in history with us and all of our guests as the greatest wedding that has ever happened! This is largely down to Fforest as a whole but particularly the accommodation, which was comfortable, interesting, cosy and special; the staff, who were kind, attentive, relaxed, helpful and sweet; the pub, which is obviously perfect; Kelly & Paula, who guided us through the organisation with patience and good humour; lastly, Sian, James and Jackson, who have created a space which is magical and filled with love which is clearly filtering from the top down to the very bottom. Thank you Fforest for helping us to make our wedding vision a reality. We can’t wait to return!

I am trapped in a bubble of joy – cheesy I know! THANK YOU so much to everyone at Fforest for a truly wonderful wedding party – it was the best 3 days ever! Fforest knocked everyones socks off and it enabled Adrian and I to be true to ourselves and do everything our way! Sending so much gratitude to Fliss who was a breath of fresh air and Jenny who was so helpful and relaxed! We loved the pizza party farmhouse vibe we were able to create the evening before (!!) and the Bwythn brought me absolute joy – I can’t describe to you the tingles I got from that place!! Big thanks to the chef; EVERYONE was raving about the food. I mean I knew it was going to be good but wow!! Also absolute bonus that we had a box full of leftover cheese, crackers and carrot cakes (!!) to take to our ‘honeymoon’ cottage further up the coast – talk about value for money!

We had our wedding here at Fforest last month, and it was better than we could have imagined. The staff, the location, the accommodation and all the small details made the day utterly magical from start to finish (the welcome signs, breakfast hampers, open fires, luggage buggies, table settings, interior design, amenities). Fforest was incredibly flexible and adaptable to my and my husband’s needs and desires, which created a really personal wedding day. Everything that I was worried about as a bride at Fforest was considered and discussed with me at length to ensure it all ran smoothly, and of course it did – we were blown away by your organisation and skill. The food was impeccable, homemade, locally sourced and delicious. Fforest created an entire vegan menu for our wedding day, and we couldn’t fault it. Finally, our friends have all said they have never been to a better wedding. Their rooms were impeccable, with everything they needed, and the staff were there at the drop of a hat when requested. You’re all amazing and thank you for the best weekend of our lives.

Married March 2023

Simon and I returned home from our honeymoon yesterday and, even though we’re back at work today, we’re still on cloud nine after an amazing wedding and honeymoon. We both wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to you all at Fforest for an absolutely magical weekend. Your help and support in the run up to and during the weekend itself made it a complete success with absolutely no dramas. We’ve had so many compliments and kind words from our guests, specifically relating to Fforest Farm and how fantastic the entire experience was. All of our guests had a blast and Simon and I both agree that it was without a doubt the best weekend of our lives. You all played a huge part in the success so thank you!

We had our wedding at Fforest at the beginning of October having been planning since April 2021. From the minute we found Fforest and decided that it would be the place we wanted to get married, the team were super helpful and fantastic in supporting us through the journey of planning our weekend, showing us around the venue on multiple occasions, and keeping in touch throughout the process. Any questions we had were promptly answered, we never felt like we were waiting for information, and it never felt like any requests we had were too much! It never once felt like we were dealing with a company who were in it solely for the business, they were all such a big help in reducing any stress we would have otherwise felt in the run-up to the wedding.

The venue is beautiful. It was the perfect setting for the wedding of our dreams. The food is fantastic, I didn’t eat a single thing all weekend that I didn’t love and the accommodation is great and so comfortable! We stayed in an onsen dome; the bath is a fabulous touch and was a really appreciated relaxing soak after the big celebrations, and we utilised Ty Fforest to its fullest for getting ready for the big day, both are spectacular places to stay. The day ran perfectly. The staff were incredibly attentive, any request we had was answered and delivered on, and at no point were we made to feel like we were asking too much.

We will absolutely be planning another stay, although any future visits will be difficult to live up to the magic of our wedding day!

I would absolutely recommend you consider Fforest if you’re looking for the most relaxed vibes for a wedding, somewhere where you can celebrate for a full three days with your guests and not once feel like you’re just one in a conveyor belt of weddings.

It was everything we hoped it would be and much more. Leanne and the team made the planning process completely stress-free, offering recommendations when needed and accommodating any specific requests. On the weekend itself, Bronwyn and the rest of the on-site staff were incredible, keeping everyone happy (despite unpredictable Welsh weather) and ensuring everything went completely to plan. Since the wedding, numerous guests have commented on what a perfect venue it was and how much fun they had. We couldn’t be more grateful to the whole Fforest team for providing a magical weekend and can’t recommend it highly enough.

We are still on cloud 9 from our wedding at the weekend at fforest and still can’t get over it! We planned the whole thing in three months, which could have been very stressful, but Leanne was sensational. So supportive, funny and warm – making the process such a joy. In fact, all the staff have been incredible. Special shout out to Bronwen and the fforest elves who went above and beyond, taking all the stress away and just being fantastic. Fforest was every bit as magical and beautiful as we hoped it would be, and when I say it went above and beyond our dreams, I really mean that! It was magic.
