Discover the enchanting Fallow Meadow, nestled in a secluded valley of hay meadows, accessible only via a winding private track. The tipis, a hidden gem in this picturesque setting, are surrounded by woodland, offering couples an exclusive and private space to celebrate their special day with loved ones.
The venue features a dedicated ceremony area, licensed for legal ceremonies, while celebrants are also welcome. Handmade oak benches accommodate up to 130 guests, blending practicality with charm. Adjacent to the tipis, an open-sided stretch tent offers a beautiful outdoor space for exchanging vows.
By day, the gently landscaped lawns and meadows invite guests to relax, enjoy garden games, or gather in various chill-out areas, such as the shaded mini tipi. By night, the softly glowing fairy and festoon lights transform the tipis into a vibrant hub for celebration, with a dance floor and a bespoke sound system. The signature Fallow Meadow bar adds a refined touch to the festivities.
From 2025, luxury glamping bell tents will be available on-site, allowing couples and guests to stay amidst the beauty of the surrounding meadow. Additionally, plenty of high-quality options nearby cater to various styles and needs.
Couples can select their own caterers and suppliers, creating a bespoke menu that reflects their taste. To help with the planning process, they can recommend trusted, high-quality providers.

Fallow Meadow is a seasonal event venue and our Tipis are now tucked away for the winter! The doors will re-open for viewings from May 2025. For updates, please follow us on Instagram or view our website.
Yes absolutely! That's the beauty of Fallow Meadow: you can make the space your own. The only immovable things are the sound system and the bar.
We can recommend a couple of excellent local wedding planners who can give extra support and coordination on the day if needed. A venue manager on the day of your event and parking attendants are part of the package.
No, our event season is from May to September. We're an exclusive venue only available for a limited number of events each year, which will appeal to those who prefer a more personal event space that can meet individual requirements.
There's mains water and a power supply, plus luxury toilet facilities and a good satellite Wi-Fi connection (although we encourage guests to spend some time offline while at Fallow Meadow).
We can recommend some wonderful places to stay nearby, from local Airbnb to luxury hotels. If you are considering hiring bell tents or similar, we are happy to discuss options for staying on-site.
We've ample parking spaces on-site, and access to our event space is via a single-track lane. It suits cars and minibuses but not coaches or double-decker buses.
On occasion, the weather is not going to play ball. Most external high-traffic areas have hard flooring, but it may get muddy in places if it's very wet. But the tipis and the stretch tent provide cosy covered spaces. In hot weather, the tipi sides can be raised to bring the outside in, and if it's wet, they can be lowered to keep the wind and rain out. The stretch tent can also be fitted with side panels to protect against the prevailing wind and rain.
Yes. As animal lovers, we welcome well-behaved four-legged friends. A perimeter fence will help prevent them from straying too far. Please let us know if you plan to bring a dog.
