About
Setting

There are far-reaching views in almost every direction at Ebrington Manor. Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the house sits among 20 acres of private grounds and gardens, where the sunsets, framed by uninterrupted Cotswold hills to the west, are often breathtaking.

The manor has remained in the same family since 1476, and its character reflects that long and storied past. Yet despite the age, recent renovations have ensured that every part of the house feels warm, welcoming, and exceptionally comfortable.

The gardens wrap closely around the house, blooming from spring through to autumn, while beyond them, the park is edged with apple, plum, and pear orchards. Every part of the grounds feels connected to the landscape, but the setting remains utterly private.

Ceremony

Although the venue itself is not licensed for weddings, there is private access from the grounds to the neighbouring church, allowing a short and peaceful walk for your ceremony without leaving the estate.

Reception

The grounds offer multiple locations for a marquee, each with its own character. Options range from a classic marquee on the parkland to a tipi by the lake lit with flowers and festoon lights. Garden drinks at sunset feel particularly special here, with the westerly view providing long, even light well into the evening.

The South African-style fire pit by the lake provides a relaxed setting for a BBQ wind-down after the main celebration, with guests welcome to swim, paddle board, fish, or row.

Inside, the house enhances the experience with a formal dining room that seats 16 for a pre-wedding supper, as well as comfortable rooms with open fires for more intimate moments.

Accommodation

The house sleeps guests across eight light-filled, en-suite bedrooms. Every room is spacious, and the house has been carefully restored to strike a balance between historical detail and modern comfort.

Local Area

The village of Ebrington is just a short stroll away and offers an award-winning pub, a farm shop, a butcher, and several B&Bs. It’s a picturesque, walkable setting that complements the manor’s private feel. Just three miles away lies Chipping Campden, a classic Cotswold town with charm in every direction.

Getting There

Ebrington Manor is roughly two hours from central London by car. For train travellers, Moreton-in-Marsh is just over ten minutes away and sits on the direct main line to London Paddington. Birmingham Airport is a 45-minute drive, while Heathrow can be reached in around 90 minutes.

“

Wow! What a day – a huge thank you for making it all such a success. Our friends were all blown away by how beautiful it all is. The gardens really are spectacular and the smell walking through the rose garden back from the church, was just incredible. It was also amazing to have everything in one spot – the church was an easy totter in my high heels and to have our own private entrance to it was brilliant. It’s also great to have the village so close. The ushers had a stand out lunch in the pub and it also meant guests staying in the various B&B’s in the village could walk home. All in all it was the most amazing weekend and we can’t thank you enough!

Lucy & Rob

Thank you SO much for helping us create THE perfect day. It was amazing to have the flexibility to create exactly what we wanted and you could not have been more helpful throughout the whole process. Our families loved the house – it was the perfect place to relax and get ready for the big day and we had a wonderful Sunday at the fire pit down by the lake, reminiscing about the day and night before. It all feels like a dream now and just wish we could do it all over again!
