Setting
Eastnor Castle is a dramatic, fairytale castle on a 5,000-acre estate in the Malvern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The castle is surrounded by a lake, deer park, and arboretum, offering magnificent views of the rolling Herefordshire countryside.
At Eastnor Castle, tranquillity, splendour, and complete exclusivity are assured. The castle is only ever hired out exclusively, allowing the couple and their family and friends to enjoy the occasion fully. The team at Eastnor Castle draws on 25 years of experience in hosting weddings and is committed to exceeding expectations. The flexible and friendly staff will ensure everything runs smoothly, helping to coordinate plans, recommend excellent suppliers, and suggest innovative touches to enhance the day.
Ceremony
There are several ceremony options. The Gothic Drawing Room accommodates up to 90 guests, while the Great Hall can host 150 guests. The Lower Terrace is a popular choice for outdoor ceremonies, providing stunning views across the lake and the Malvern Hills beyond. Additionally, a charming village church is located at the end of the drive, just a short walk away.
Reception
Drinks and canapés can be enjoyed on the Terraces or in one of the breathtaking reception rooms. Guests can listen to soft music and admire the views across Herefordshire while the couple takes romantic photos. The Wedding Breakfast can be hosted in either the Dining Room or the Great Hall, both of which are full of character, charm, and warmth. As the evening approaches, dancing can take place in the Octagon Room. Fireworks are often launched from the far side of the lake, creating a spectacular display as they illuminate the water.
Accommodation
There are 12 guest bedrooms, each individually designed with style and comfort in mind. Additionally, four holiday properties on the estate provide a further 17 bedrooms for overnight guests.
Getting There
Eastnor Castle is just 15 minutes from the M50 and 10 minutes from Ledbury Train Station, making it easily accessible for guests.
